We had the most delightful stay! We (my friend and I) booked in for a 3 day retreat and were absolutely taken by the place, it's completely stunning. The day started with yoga at 7:30AM, followed by a stunning breakfast cooked fresh, and then the day was yours to go to the day spa or take up more activities that... More

What a wonderful place my 2nd visit. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants peace, solitude and a beautiful environment and to be nurtured, spa treatments are just wonderful. The staff are very unique people, professional caring and personable with everyone, never seen the likes of the incredible caring and service from the pickup at the airport to my departure.... More

I went for a three night mother & daughter stay when my daughter was pregnant with her second child- totally relaxing! We could do as little or as much as we wished. The two bedroom villa was beautiful, beds were super comfy. Daybeds perfect spot for reading or snoozing. Yoga, day spa and food were spot on. I can't wait... More

I entered this beautiful property a little hesitant due to the high prices, but discovered that what you experience is truly delightful and decadent. I spent 3 days/2nights here and arrived in time for breakfast on my first day and left late afternoon on my third day. The service I received was outstanding and made very personal. You must take... Leave your cares behind, the Gaia Resort and Spa really makes life simple, relaxing and luxurious. Upscale enough you can wear your best in resort attire but comfortable that you could dine in your super chic robe if you wish. As your meals are included you do not need to think about anything but showing up and perhaps adding wine... More

Pros: creative food options; wonderful location, ppol & gardens; Tim and Rob in the restaurant (thanks guys!); attentive housekeeping; lovely spa staff. Cons: Slightly patronising attitude from the 'young, blond surfer dude' at the restaurant not conducive to the clientele; yoga studio placed inconsiderately between the manager's house and his carpark so morning relax interupted as he set off for... I had a three night stay at Gaia, including some spa treatments. The accommodation, facilities and staff were exceptional and offer as much or as little as you are looking for. Traveling alone, there are options for communal dining or enjoying your peace and solitude. Treatments were perfect and the food nourishing and far above anything i was expecting. I... More

Gaia is not the flashy luxurious, contemporary retreat you might find elsewhere but it is a place that is full of warmth, people with good hearts, amazing food, lovely pace of activities, beautiful grounds, gorgeous spa with staff way beyond the norm, peaceful surrounds and a perfect place to relax and unwind. My daughter and i went for 2 nights... More
