This is a hidden Gem, offering accomodation for couples or families. It's an exquisitely decorated boutique hotel with attention to detail. The hosts are fabulous and go the extra mile to make sure all goes well on your visit. Breakfast is fantastic and plentiful and prepared by the hosts. There is a nice selection of rooms and suites with private Jacuzzis as well as a penthouse with private pool. Highly recommended if you truly want a special stay.

This place is incredible! Clive and Liudmila are marvelous hosts. You can feel the warmth of hospitality from the moment you cross the doorway. The hotel is very beautiful, with many plants and fresh flowers blooming everywhere. You can feel attention to detail in every corner of the house. The rooms were spotless, towels and bedding felt amazing against the skin. The guests are also offered high quality hygiene set. Clive is excellent cook and you can taste the love in every bite and he also makes the most delicious coffee and cocktails. Liudmila gives the best advice on places to visit, where to eat in the neighborhood and where to park your car. They are both lovely people and it feels that they are happy to walk extra mile for they guests. This place is like oasis in the desert, where one would always want to come back and never leave.

Lulu is a small family owned Boutique Hotel. And it shows; the interior is carefully designed with attention to detail and plenty of green plantings. The patio with the small pool is delightful. All areas of the hotel had beautiful spaces with a wonderful atmosphere.
Owners and hosts, Liudmila and Clive, made us feel very welcome, and were extremely helpful with everything, eg preparing delicious lunch for our boat trip as well as a tasty surprise brunch for a birthday.
Breakfast was served both indoor and at the patio, offering a delicious range of choices including pastries, fresh made egg dishes and salads.
Rooms were carefully designed including very nice bathrooms, beds and pillows were really comfortable, towels and amenities were high quality and the rooms were kept very clean. And again: we loved all the plants !
The hotel is located in a charming area of Zebbug, with narrow, winding streets and quite easy access to the rest of the island.
We went as 3 generations family (7-75 years old) and all of us had a wonderful time. If we come back to Malta - this is definitely the place we’ll stay again. Wondering if it’s the best place in the whole Mediterranean.

It was a very short break but with an unforgettable and amazing experience.
Upon arriving at this beautiful gem in the heart of Ħaż-Żebbuġ we were warmly greeted by the hosts, Liudmila and Clive who showed us around and walked us to our room. After settling in we were offered a welcome drink and a tradition Maltese ftira plated on a bed of fresh salad of local produce.
The room we opted for was Suite 3 - Romantic with Cellar & Jacuzzi. It was spotless. The room was equipped with all basic necessities including mini fridge stocked up with water and soft drinks (to take free of charge), coffee machine, kettle, signatured towels, bathrobes and winter white bed linen.
The experience in the cellar is unique. You can light up candles around the jacuzzi and make the best out of this relaxing place.
The breakfast, including mini Maltese pastizzi is freshly cooked and all is served with perfection and professionalism.
This place is unique and the hosts make it even more! Well done Clive and Liudmila for the hard work to built this place with your own hands and keep it up for the years to come. It shows that whatever is Maltese is close to your hearts. You can tell this once you step inside this hotel, which is a 300-year old converted Maltese house of character.
We highly recommend this place for a short break or getaway.

What a delightful place! Lulu Boutique hotel is a little jewel in the centre of the old village of Zebbug. When one enters, one is hit with the tasteful decor, attention to detail and creativity of this beautifully converted Maltese town house. As you settle down you can easily see that each bedroom has all the modern amenities one could wish for and the common areas are excellent and well thought out.
Ok so the place is new, but I could not help noticing the cleanliness and quality of the linen, mattresses etc. Each room or suite has its own character and one can go for his own preferences and choices: Should you want an open air roof pool, its there; should you opt for the venue main pool near the bar, its there; should you like to relax with a nice cocktail or wine in the ages old underground jacuzzi, its down in the cellar!
And finally something on the hosts, a delightful couple who really know how to make you feel at home. Definitely recommended.

If you are visiting Malta, you will really want to stay here. We are in suite 3 ( of 8) with a private jacuzzi in a cellar accessed by a spiral staircase from our suite. The welcome received from the owners Lulu and Clive is 5 star, the small hotel is unique and beautiful. Everything is amazing thought out, super clean with Gorgeous bath and shower products, plus that actually wrap around your body, not just your arm / leg. So so pleased that we have chosen to stay the last 2 nights of our 3 week holiday here at LULU. Thanks to the owners for such a stunning place to stay. It’s a MUST…..

The moment you enter Lulu Boutique Hotel you have an immediate sense of calm and relaxation. This happens everytime you go through the front door and we stayed for 8 nights!
Everything is beautiful and carefully placed, decorated, imagined and looked after. Superlatives aren't enough to describe how every detail makes the difference.
Breakfast is amazing - one of the things we're going to miss the most!
No matter how relaxing our days were, we couldn't resist spending some time in the swimming pool after sight seeing or beach hoping. It's like an oasis of freshness, shade and a nice chat with Clive and Ludmila. You have to try their cocktails, they make a great Aperol, a killer Pimm's and you must have a local drink called Kinni Spritz.
From our reservation several months ago to our goodbye, Luidmila, Clive and their staff couldn't be nicer to us.
Dearest Ludmila and Clive, you were the best hosts we could ask for. We wish you all the best and we're positive you're going to make many guests as happy as we were.
We've been to many places around the world and Lulu was truly unforgettable.

Lulu Boutique Hôtel is an incredibly rare find and an absolutely beautiful experience! The hotel itself is stunning. It has been lovingly restored and updated with gorgeous, beautiful design details and the warmest and most welcoming atmosphere. All of which is a perfect reflection of the owners themselves, who from the very start make you feel a guest of their home and family. The setting is a bit removed from the most/popular sites of Malta, which honestly I preferred despite the extra travel time. The hotel felt like a peaceful haven away from the crowds. Clive and Liudmila gave wonderful information to help choose where to go and how to navigate the island (I used a combination of the bus system (the Explorer Card was very helpful for this) and eCabs, as recommended by Liudmila, and those options were great for me). I made serious tracks around the island over my three day stay!
All of this exploring was fueled each morning by the most amazing breakfast with some of the most delectable cakes and pastries (home made on the premises!) that I have ever had. Eggs, cheeses and meat platter, and bread were also available.
For reference, I am a single, middle-aged female traveler. If you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable place with exceptional hospitality, look no further!

As soon as you walk through the front door of this beautiful boutique hotel, you just feel the atmosphere, ambiance and uniqueness of a truly stunning 5 star hotel. The attention to detail is absolutely stunning and to be hold. Every room is individually designed with unique bespoke handmade furniture.The beds were amazingly comfortable, with fresh bedding everyday.
Our hosts, Clive and Liudmila were amazing.They welcome you with open arms.Nothing is too much trouble for them. They went out of there way to make sure our honeymoon was memorial and tailored to our needs. From the excellent breakfast served every morning by Clive to the very knowledgeable information given by Liudmila regarding places to visit to restaurants to dine in.
This was our first visit to this truly amazing boutique hotel but not our last.
Ps. Clive and Liudmila you should be so proud of yourselves.

Hello,
Valletta is 15 minutes away, Mdina 10 minutes, Blue Grotto 12 minutes, Airport 12 minutes. Basically Zebbug is located in the center if the island. If you are planning to rent a car, most of the places will be within 15 minutes drive. The most remote are 30 min drive.
