The Bailey Ground Hotel is right on the beach, with great views. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. Food in the restaurant is very good and there is a good atmosphere in the bar of an evening.

My parents stopped here and were very impressed with everyone from the waitress to the proprietors. The food was amazing and all in all was exceptional value for money. The location is wonderful, just a few feet away from the beach.

A friend and I spent two nights B&B on a golf break in the area. Hotel looks a bit sad from the outside but fine inside. The older front part of the hotel is a little dated but that is not really of any consequence. Our rooms were in the rear extension which I think is probably newer. We both... More

Could not fault the staff, very friendly and helpful. The hotel reception was disappointing, basically a corridor from the bar to the rooms, tatty looking. I would say the hotel is in need of some decorating and new carpets. In the bar a couple of chairs turned over, so I assumed they were broken and couldn't be sat on, why... More

The location is right on the front. Hotel is clean and tidy, obviously you can find faults if you look closely for them. The food is excellent and the bar has more than enough choice at a reasonable price. The rooms are a little on the small side but clean and had tea/coffee making facilities, Freeview tv and wifi. I... More

We arrived late due to a long drive, but we called through and the hotel made arrangements to leave a key. The room was clean and warm and the ensuite was new, clean and worked. The breakfast was excellent. Great selection and good quality and plenty of it. The service from the staff was friendly and welcoming. This hotel is... More

We stayed here for one night with our 5 month old son, as a last minute booking. This was our first visit to Seascale. The hotel is right by the sea. The views from our room were stunning, perfect for watching the sun set over the Isle of Man. The room itself was clean, comfortable and spacious, with a travel... More

Rooms are functional, clean, and well equipped Evening meal was OK, but service was a little slow Breakfast was a disappointment, I wanted a 'full english' as I was probably going to end up missing lunch, it was OK but I felt ingredients were not best quality. WiFi is free and works well. I would stay here again, but other... More
