The best surf camp I’ve ever been to. Amazingly friendly atmosphere, great surf teachers, everything perfectly planned and organized. The hostel is just great, the food is fantastic and everyone there looks after you in such a wonderful way that you can just simply relax and chill and surf 🏄 🤙💙 Thank you chilloutsurf!
Our week at Chillout Surf Hostel was truly ahhhhhhhmazing! Having enjoyed our visit last year, this was actually our second time in the Tamraght/Taghazout area. We picked a different hostel though, and it was a good decision. From going to different surf spots every day to catch the best waves, to the guided souk visit, to the local Moroccan performance at the hostel, and to the yoga on the rooftop, we were not disappointed. Everything that was promised at the beginning of our stay indeed was delivered! Staff and owners were friendly and made every effort to ensure everyone was having a good time! Really recommend going here if you’re single, a couple or group. 10/10!!
An incredible experience, highly recommended. The staff very good people, we had a good laughs. The hotel was well organized and the yoga instructor was very good. Great beaches and surfing. We will be back soon for sure!
Choosing Chillout surfcamp was definitely the best decision ever! Nora was very helpful with the booking from the very beginning answering all our questions. Once there, they made everything easy... the house is very nice and clean, food excellent, great atmosphere... the whole staff was awesome, always ready to help and make us feel home! Yoga and surf lessons were perfect! We improved a lot our skills. We didn’t stop laughing the whole week, can’t wait to be back! Thank you guys!!
If you are looking to get into surfing and learn the basics then this is the camp for you. Marius, Amine and the rest of the crew are all great guys and we’re always willing to help with anything I needed. As all meals and snacks were included it made the week much easier as there aren’t an abundance of restaurants in the area. We were served an assortment of traditional Moroccan dishes for dinner, while breakfast (omelettes) and lunch (sandwiches on the beach) were a bit more basic. The camp itself is really nice with solid wifi (video streaming possible), decent beds & bathroom, and a great rooftop terrace. The trip to the souk (local market) was enjoyable and you can score yourself some great deals. Make sure you take out cash before you get here as there are no ATMs in the area and the closest one is in the next town (10 minute drive). Also, if you are looking to party this is definitely not the place for you. There are no real bars or clubs (and the few that exist charge upwards of €6 for a local beer) in the area and alcohol can only be purchased from Agadir (40 minutes away). Overall I had an enjoyable week but I must note that if you’re an intermediate surfer looking to progress to the next level this isn’t the camp for you. The lessons were pretty unorganised and didn’t provide what I was looking for when I booked (the package was pretty cheap so I didn’t care that much). As the camp is mostly set up for beginners, they drive you to the simplest (and most crowded) surf breaks. However, as previously stated if you’re just looking to get into surfing and don’t take it that seriously you’ll have a great time here! …
