We enjoyed our 3 nights at the Kyaninga Lodge. Our cabin was lovely, and the setting was amazing! The manager and his staff were incredible, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The food was terrific; compliments to the chef! Laundry service was provided which was a very nice perk. We enjoyed having drinks outdoors every evening and even enjoyed several meals outdoors. It is a small lodge, so beware of large groups as was our experience 2 of the 3 days we stayed there. The large group (with children) "over-ran" the pool/patio area and the dining rooms. Otherwise, it was a near perfect experience for us.
My husband, 3-year and 7-month old girls and I stayed 3 nights and loved every bit of this stunning place. From the time of check-in to check-out, it was an amazing experience for the whole family. From breathtaking views of Lake Kyaninga to the Rwenzori Mountains to the lodge itself and our beautiful cottage: which absolutely spectacular and served us some of the best sunsets we have ever seen. Lastly, the service and care we received truly exceeded our expectations; all the staff are outstandingly attentive, very accommodating and friendly. A shout out to the amazing kitchen staff for superb breakfasts, lunches, dinners, teas & snacks. We will be returning, without a doubt!
Outstanding place, very tranquil and relaxing and the massages are wonderful. The food, pool, staff and views are so worth it.i have promoted this place to so many already. The walk around the crater was even better
This was an amazing lodge. The view is incredible, and it was truly an experience. Be prepared for the statutes. It was a great way to begin the day, but not for those who have trouble walking!!! Staff was amazing! Rooms wonderful!
The setting is truly unique and memorable. The structures are very good and also quite unique/special. The staff, fantastic. The food very good. - Clean and safe. The trails around the crater are wonderful for birding, seeing some monkeys, and viewing the country-side. All very special. (Just wished the beds were not so hard). ... And getting there speaks for itself! IMO, the destination is worth the experience. Note well that this place has lots of stairs and boardwalks to each room. Not so ideal for those with mobility challenges.
