A beautiful chateau in the most tranquil of locations. The rooms are spotless and airy. Dinner is optional and who knows who you may sit next to - our evening was quite brilliant with several languages being spoken around the table and some truly fascinating fellow guests. M Poil and Mme Fillon looked after us superbly with wonderful food and... More

Excellent small manoir personally run by the proprietor Christian. Quiet country location. Food is excellent served at a large table so all guests can converse with each other. Pre dinner drinks, wine with the dinner and home made hors d'oeuvres included in the very reasonable dinner price of 30euros (2016). Rooms are large, comfortable, well equipped and "French old world"... More

We arrived tired and needing some rest, we received exceptional service and superb accommodation. Christian is the quintessential host and amazing chef and sommelier. The building is old and full of character. The rooms were huge and exactly what we had hoped for.

Stayed here a week. We loved it. Wonderful croissants, jams and honey for breakfasts. Then dinners were superb - wine, tidbits, delicious entrees and desserts. Christian was so helpful in providing valuable information as we traveled through the area.

We stayed here for a week with another couple to explore Loire Valley. The rooms were comfortable and the grounds were lovely. We found the dinners exceptional. Every night was a different menu using fresh ingredients and copious wine servings. It was simply a wonderful, relaxing experience. Christian is a great host and helpful in making arrangements.

The Manoir is in a quiet and pleasant area. It is well kept with lovely lawns and roses climbing up the walls . Our room at the top of two sets of stone steps was spacious , had views over the countryside and had an adequate bathroom with lots of hot water. Breakfast was typically French but with the addition... More

A beautiful old French Manor House exceptionally well restored and appointed. Christian looks after you superbly well, and his dinners are always excellent. We have been going there for 6-7 years now, we always look forward to our stay, whether it be for one night or four. Comfort, elegance and friendly greeting, attentive host and lovely quiet surroundings, what more... More

The best is the communal dinner with delicious food in a lovely dining room and the lovely setting. The owner is a delight, and our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is quiet and rural, really pretty.

My husband and I spent three wonderful nights here in October. Our room was huge, with a nice sitting area. The house itself was charming and full of history and we loved sitting by the fire in the dining room. Christian was friendly and accommodating. The highlight our stay were the dinners prepared by Christian on two of the nights.... More
