Unfortunately this was a flying visit for a wedding, but in the short time we were here it was nothing short of brilliant. Even before we arrived, the service was first rate - an email to arrange an early check in was answered positively almost instantly. Ethna and Henry (the owners) couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming, particularly to... More

Stayed here the night of our wedding. Husband booked this up as a surprise. Never knew this was here. What a find. Hosts were so friendly and chatty making us feel at ease and relaxed. Arrived at 1.30 am to find bottle of champagne, petals on the bed strawberries and some biscuits. Bed was so comfortable I could have stayed... More

Loved this place. Warm welcome from Henry and Ethna (and Bertie the dalmation). Classy understated decor. Room was absolutely charming, with a sunny balcony, soft bed and plenty of room. Lovely gardens, plenty of secure parking. Delicious breakfast in a beautiful dining room. You feel that you are guests in a country house. Expensive, but worth it.

Myself and my fiancé James get married this year and wanted to see in the year we become husband and wife in a cosy environment, just the two of us. Upon seeing this house we immediately fell in love with its grandeur, beauty and elegance but the house offers so much more than aesthetics, it holds a character and charm... More

A quite location that offers great walks yet is not far from Brands & motorway. Family run the house is v.well appointed, staff are v.helpful and breakfast was excellent. A number of convenient restaurant & pubs in local village which is only a short walk away.

All of the great reviews confirmed, this place was fantastic. We spent our 17th anniversary there, were welcomed with a bottle of wine and amazing hospitality. We look forward to going back and definitely will! Do not hesitate to book this B&B -well worth it!

My husband and I stayed for one night and all the other reviews sum up how we felt about it. Fabulous rooms, attention to detail, delicious breakfast and home comforts at every turn. Felt like we had won the lottery and this stunning home would be on my purchase list. We fully support all the other 5 star reviews. Wonderful,... More

I can only reiterate all the other reviews. Everything about Tabsfield was superb and the hosts are so welcoming you truly feel that you are visiting friends and not paying guests. The only negative was we only booked one night. We will return soon.

We had a wonderful experience here and the hosts made us feel very welcome. The bedroom (Farningham) was very comfortable, with all the little extras that you don't necessarily expect - shampoos, lotion, slippers, perfume......the list goes on.... Very comfortable bed so much so that you don't want to get up! Breakfast contained local produce (juice) and the cooked breakfast... More
