I stayed for 2 nights at this lovely hotel, in the pretty village of Eynsford. My room was spacious and very comfortable. I loved the comfy bed and stylish roll top bath. It is within walking distance of the station and 5 mins drive to Eagle heights. I had breakfast and dinner downstairs in the restaurant. The staff were very...

We decided to stay at the castle whilst visting friends. I called ahead and asked if they were dog friendly (regarding the rooms) and it was absoultely fine even though we have a mastiff! We stayed in room 5 which I would recommend ( however it is overlooking the main road which wasn't actually a problem ). The room was...

My fiancé and I along with 14 of our friends spent our NYE celebrations here. The sit down meal was amazing but Unfortunately the DJ let the venue down by cancelling last minute for the disco. However, the owners made it their mission to not let it ruin the evening. They rounded everyone up at the bar and played their...

Thank you so much for being understanding it was a very stressful night due to the dj who has worked at our venue on many occasions. When i finally got hold of him a week later his excuse was he was in bed with a bad back, so i realize this must have paralyzed his fingers and voice so he...

Indifferent welcome on arrival. Room was plain but clean. Extremely disappointing service at breakfast. It took 15 minutes to be offered coffee and have our order taken. 30 minutes later the food had still not been served despite several other guests having been served their breakfasts. We eventually gave up and walked out. Staff couldn't have cared less. Overall it...

First can I offer my apologies that you did not enjoy your stay, we go out of our way to welcome guests to our home and get great reviews on customer service. What a wonderful review, thank you so much as you say you do get bad service (cant be bothered service) in a lot of places, and you are correct we put a lot of time and energy into training. Its also nice from our point of view to serve lovely people like yourselves as customers can also be rude sometimes,...

We visited with my parents and 2 dogs in tow on a weekday lunchtime. We were blown away by the massive portions (the ham hock is a sight to behold and could easily feed 2!) The rack of lamb delicious and just right. Burger was in my opinion overformed and was very dense but luckily my girlfriend likes it that...

What an excellent find, Friendly and efficient staff, accommodation, well second to none, The whole place is kept to as very high standard and the food matches the high standards set by the effervescent Landlady and Landlord. If you ever find yourself in the area or not as the case may be, as I would go the extra to reach...

Popped in for lunch. Place was generally busy but not overly so. The waitress Debbie was very nice and attentive. The food was tasty and typical pub fare. Decent value for money as there is plent of competition in the area. I would return.

Just back from two night stay. Super staff, welcome, food and comfort. Bed linen, duvets, pillows, towels and toiletries of high standard. Would recommend rooms at rear of hotel as quieter due to busy High Street. On arrival was disappointed to encounter overflowing bins at side of hotel. However, at breakfast, young Harry - great young man - explained the...

My husband and I had a joint afternoon tea party to celebrate our Birthdays with family and friends . The food was excellent and the staff very attentive. The Library is a delightful room for a celebration and the staff worked closely with us to make the afternoon a sucess. I would recommend this venue for a celebration. Viv Gardner
