Nice stay. Inn is very loose and flexible. Our booking agent had made errors in our flights and Inn was able to fix that for us. Best to book packages directly through inn and definitely cheaper! We stayed in Bayview suite which suited us, but that may not everyone. It is about a block from the main inn. Quiet and private, but not all would like the walk. Well illuminated by house lights, so no problem after dark. Food was good and tasty. Typical continental breakfast fare.

We came to see the Northern Lights. They picked us up at the airport and drove us out to the Inn. On the way Scott showed us the town. The inn is log construction overlooking Marsh Lake. The rooms are all different and nice. The food was great. Our package included dog sledding and snow mobiling which were a lot of fun. They provided warm jackets, pants boots and gloves. Overall a great experience

We had booked a twin room, facing North so we could look at the Lights through the bedroom window. This room is really not ideal for two to share as it lacks space for gear. Luckily the room next door was unexpectedly free so we could have separate rooms. The Inn is lovely. Helpful, well informed staff, beautiful location, very well catered and happily - friendly & interesting guests. Sadly we didn't see the Lights, but other guests caught them on cameras, and we understood how hard they can be to see with the naked eye. The activities available through the Inn - dog sledding and snowmobile riding, ice fishing, snowshoe hiking make up for the missing Lights! The outings are well planned - you are carefully dressed in serious weather proof gear and given all the advice and guidance to feel safe in such Arctic weather. The scenery is breath taking and the air is so clean and the atmosphere is very peaceful. There are no TVs so people are less inclined to vanish off to their rooms and we enjoyed the over dinner and after dinner conversations with people from Australia, Japan, and Taiwan. I would recommend this to anyone but be ready for the cold.....

We stayed at the Inn for 3 nights in search of the Northern Lights. We only saw a glimpse on our first night as the other nights were cloudy. Cant help mother nature. The food at the Inn is just delicious and the two chefs are very professional in the way they cook and present the food. The accommodation was clean and spacious. My son and I dog sled, which I strongly recommend as it was so much fun as was the snowmobiling and ice fishing. We had a relaxing yet forfilling time and we will be back as the staff were Fantastic.

Inn on the Lake is in a beautiful location right on Marsh Lake where you can watch the sun rising and setting out the front windows. I stayed there mid January and loved my 3 night stay. The food was excellent, beautifully prepared. The lodge is attractively decorated with a large central table where we took our meals. The best part is the staff who were so friendly and helpful. Hat off to them as they were also coping behind the scenes with an unusually deep freeze which affected engines and pipes etc. though they managed to keep everything going. They really take care of you and make sure you are fully kitted out for snowmobiling etc. I went to the Yukon hoping to see the northern lights, but even though it was clear, none were visible to the naked eye, though one guest did capture some green glow on camera. But the stars alone are worth staying up at night, so bright and dense. I'd definitely recommend Inn on the Lake and would go again, perhaps in a different season to see more of the Yukon.
