Disappointed to see that the furnishings and bedding was all outdated, carpets we dingy and I really felt the need to limit direct contact with old comforters (creative folding). The staff were okeasabt, but I would not stay agsin. First thought upon entering room: how much trouble would it be to argue for a refund.

Extremely dated and although the room was fairly clean, the stairs and hallway were filthy. We arrived late and I was exhausted, so we stayed, but next time I will pay an extra $20 and stay in a better part of town and cleaner, newer facility. Definitely not worth the money we payed. Don't stay here unless absolutely necessary. There...

This is an older hotel that has been maintained. There is evidence of its age with the deadbolt locking doors and older but clean carpets. The wifi is free but sporadic. (Expedia lists a managers reception that the workers don't even remember ever happening.) There was some noise from the bar goers leaving at night as the room was facing...

I originally was booked here for a couple weeks and going to extend to six weeks. Being a regular hotel user, I knew enough to ask for a very quiet, clean room at which point I will extend the stay. When I got into the room, I went immediately down to the reception and mentioned the holes in the bathroom...

Being right downtown in Whitehorse this hotel is older and in need of some upgrades. It was clean, but the bed was worn out and the heating/cooling was marginal. Staff was polite and helpful but they have no dedicated parking. Had wifi, but very slow. I would probably stay here again if other hotels were booked, but not high on...

So, I went to the Elite and as soon as I arrived the woman at the front desk was on the phone with a guest who missed his flight because they never gave him a wake-up call. The woman was annoyed as she held out the phone and rolled her eyes. When some local teenagers came in and asked her...

There are not many places in Whitehorse in high season for a reasonable price. I stayed a few nights waiting for friends to meet me and found it very accommodating. Very good service and friendly. I was traveling by motorcycle so I parked across the street to avoid the nearby bar. No problems. Not the Hilton but I found it...

We had a perfectly fine stay here. Rooms are big, the hotel itself is a bit dingy but we were looking for budget accommodations this time around and had no issues with parking or WiFi. Manage your expectations and you won't be too disappointed-- and make sure you hit up Antoinette's down the road, which is wonderful. Good location and...

I WAS sleeping, but not anymore. I woke in a start from the terrible thrashing above me. It continued for over 15 minutes. I called the front desk and was told "is ok, they just come back in". Um NO! It's not ok, I didn't drive for 12 hours to get here and not be able to sleep. Also worth...

We booked this hotel through Expedia in August 2015 and then re-confirmed the booking in October 2015. On arrival at 8.30pm in minus 10 degrees and snow after a 7 hour flight on 11 January 2016 we were confronted with a notice in the front door indicating that the hotel was closed from December 2015 to 16 January 2016. We...
