Being right downtown in Whitehorse this hotel is older and in need of some upgrades. It was clean, but the bed was worn out and the heating/cooling was marginal. Staff was polite and helpful but they have no dedicated parking. Had wifi, but very slow. I would probably stay here again if other hotels were booked, but not high on... More

There are not many places in Whitehorse in high season for a reasonable price. I stayed a few nights waiting for friends to meet me and found it very accommodating. Very good service and friendly. I was traveling by motorcycle so I parked across the street to avoid the nearby bar. No problems. Not the Hilton but I found it... More

We had a perfectly fine stay here. Rooms are big, the hotel itself is a bit dingy but we were looking for budget accommodations this time around and had no issues with parking or WiFi. Manage your expectations and you won't be too disappointed-- and make sure you hit up Antoinette's down the road, which is wonderful. Good location and... More

I WAS sleeping, but not anymore. I woke in a start from the terrible thrashing above me. It continued for over 15 minutes. I called the front desk and was told "is ok, they just come back in". Um NO! It's not ok, I didn't drive for 12 hours to get here and not be able to sleep. Also worth... More

We booked this hotel through Expedia in August 2015 and then re-confirmed the booking in October 2015. On arrival at 8.30pm in minus 10 degrees and snow after a 7 hour flight on 11 January 2016 we were confronted with a notice in the front door indicating that the hotel was closed from December 2015 to 16 January 2016. We... More

I thought this was fairly comfortable; a spacious room for our group of four adults, and one of the only ones who provided us a cot for our adult offspring (who doesn't share a bed with his sister). Plenty of room, beds were decent and bathroom was fine. Location was pretty good. WiFi was definitely pretty good. Service pleasant. Caveat:... More

I have visited Whitehorse more than a dozen times and this had to be by far the least pleasant accommodation I've experienced there. The hotel itself is near the town center, which is good. But, it adjoins a low-class bar where patrons smoked outside incessantly, tottered around drunk and were noisy well past midnight. The rooms are very basic and... More

This was marked as a 3 star hotel on Expedia and tripadvisor. But it barely deserves one star and that is because it is walking distance to tourist info centre , museum and good restaurants and the friendly helpful staff. We were hesitant to stay when we read the newest negative reviews the night before our arrival , especially with... More

if this is your ONLY option, I mean ONLY option, then it is your ONLY option. Otherwise, I would suggest anywhere else. It is an old, smelly hotel. Dirty, worn out old towels you would use for rags in your own home. As soon as I walked in the room, I wanted to book somewhere else, leaving my money behind.... More

I slept very well at this hotel, mainly because the curtains really did block the long daylight that is present in the Yukon during the summer. Overall, the hotel is a bit odd. It has at least two names posted, so we cirlcled around the block a few times before we spotted the name, Elite Hotel. Additionally, unlike most hotels,... More
