I cannot recommend this place highly enough. With only four rooms in a lodge separate to the family home you are treated as one of the family. The food is sublime with three new courses every night. Christiane and Jean Marc catered for our every need including driving us to the local hot springs and wildlife preserve. There are great... More

My wife and I are on honeymoon and Whitehorse is our last stop. Our journey started on the pickup from the airport while the owner, Jean-Marc gave us a warm welcome and the background on the way to the lodge. Upon arriving at the lodge, Christiane greeted us and showed us around the lodge. We were quite fascinated by the... More

I have just returned from 3 nights staying at the Takhini River Lodge where I have to say, I have received the worst customer and one of the most upsetting experiences on a vacation in my life. Having travelled the world and BC mostly the last 5 years it goes without saying I would not encourage anyone to risk themselves... More

Dear Sarah Kate, I think you did not book the right place for you and your friends. We will carefully look at how we can improve our website and our email communication to provide clearer information about our accommodation’s ambiance and services. I feel you are putting lots of your anger on me and that maybe helps you to feel... More

Jean-Marc and Christiane were such great hosts from the minute they picked us up from the airport. The lodge was beautiful set in a valley amongst the snowy mountains. The Yukon Art room was well done with the wood vaulted ceilings, stunning views and a very comfortable bed. The extravagant meals Christiane prepared daily were not only delicious but presented... I booked the package through their website, and from the first contact Jean-Marc and Christiane were incredibly helpful and gracious. Our trip absolutely exceeded our expectations! The lodge is very comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful. I can... More

There are many words that could describe our trip to the Lodge. Breathtaking, vast, wilderness, nature, stars, lights, laughter, food (the meals were amazing!), crisp morning air, connection, unwind, sleep well, don't want to go home. Thank you for providing such a beautiful retreat to escape to and for making it such a personal and wonderful visit! We will definitely... More

On our road trip to Alaska, we traveled the Alaska Highway, and I doubt you could find a more delightful place near Whitehorse. We knew we wanted a couple of nights in the area given our interest in the Yukon Territory Wildlife Preserve in Miles Canyon. We weren't at all concerned about its distance from town (more than 10 miles),... More

Very comfortable house with top notch bedroom accommodation and bathroom with bath and shower. Charming French owners where Christina will cook a delicious dinner if ordered the day before. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit eggs etc. First Class. Highly recommend. Owners live in adjacent house together with their huskies! We were there in summer but they specialise in northern lights... More

Just completed a 3 night stay at the River Lodge. Christiane and Jean Marc were perfect hosts . Helpful, friendly and never overbearing. Our rooms were supremely comfortable and the setting superb. You must stay here when visiting Whitehorse.
