Thank you so much Bernie! My wife and I had an amazing time here. We stayed in two different rooms - the basement suite and an upstairs room and both were great. Private bathrooms, lots of breakfast food, kitchens to use, very clean, super historic, a lovely garden in the back, a great location.. I could go on! But most... More

We stayed at the Historic Guest House for 3 nights while visiting my son in Whitehorse. We had the fully contained basement suite, and appreciated the space and full amenities. The suite was spacious and clean, and we felt very much at home. The weather was beautiful and we were able to enjoy the beautiful private back yard gardens and... More

Fantastic place to stay! The bed was comfortable, It was easy to find, shops nearby. The garden behind the hostel is quiet, and soothing. I really enjoyed having access to a full kitchen even for a layover.

This centrally located heritage house provides modern comfort in an historic setting. The rooms are spacious and the downstairs private baths are modern - one has a tub as well as a shower. The gardens are beautiful to relax in and everything in town is within walking distance. Free parking is also available. The owners live next door so guests... More

Pam and Bernie (And Eddie & Sophie) were amazing hosts! We had the Cyr Suite which is a contained basement suite with it's own kitchen, living and eating area and sleeping area. It has 2 queen beds and 1 double futon. Very spacious and cozy. Has a rustic charm with modern kitchen amenities. We felt very safe here and Pam... More

We stayed with Pam and Bernie as we were preparing for the Yukon River Quest. The B&B was perfect as it was warm and comfortable with a full kitchen so we could prepare our food. Bernie and Pam were so accommodating and friendly. Tales of Sam McGee's Cremation by Robert Service and other stories littered around the house add to... More

Big thanks for a great place to stay, very close to everything and super friendly. The place is great as we had full use of the kitchen for cooking all of our meals. Also a really great back yard if you just need to relax

I was in Whitehorse recently with an out-of-state guest on a road trip through Southeast Alaska and the Yukon. We stayed in the Rose Room. The house was very cozy, with clean and modern bathrooms and kitchen, but still retaining its turn of the century charm. Bernie and Pam and the dogs were all very friendly and helpful, and the... In the perfect location, downtown Whitehorse, this house is comfy with lots of privacy and comfort. Not only do you have a room, but you have a livingroom and kitchen in the house originally build for the real Sam McGee of Klondike Gold Rush fame. This certainly beats a standard hotel room. The owner is personable, helpful and kind.

We stayed here before (preparing) and after (cleaning up) from a canoe trip. It was a great place to stay. Bernie and Pam were very welcoming and made us feel at home. It is very central and the house and garden itself are a joy to be in. Pam makes the garden feel like an oasis where you can rest... More
