My son and I stayed here for two nights. We had a lakeview room with a balcony. Room was clean and spacious. Irene at the front desk was so nice; We arrived at 130 which was too early for checkin so we went to the restaurant. As soon as our room was ready, she popped into the restaurant to tell... More

We have used the Hawood Inn for our annual workshop. The facility is great for meetings. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and very nice, especially if you have a beachfront room. It is close to shopping, galleries, the beach, restaurants and more. However it doesn't have internet access in the rooms. Only the lobby. This... More

The "lake front" room is just overlooking a bunch of trees with the lake behind. Hotel is old but is clean, although it doesn't worth over $170 a night for this "view" room. Don't spend the extra cash for it. There were a bunch of blue collar guys checking in in front of me and my partner, the front desk... More

We had an enjoyable long weekend at the Hawood. It is a dependable and clean hotel. Breakfasts in the restaurant were tasty. Staff was friendly and efficient. The Hawood is a little dated and could use some upgrading. The hot tubs on the roof need work. Waskesiu is a little piece of heaven on the prairies.

The Hawood is average. We stayed one night as part of our first trip to Waskesiu. It was quite pricey, and even though I expected to pay a bit more for a hotel inside the park, I didn't feel like I got good value. The $20 extra for a 'Lake-view room' is not worth it - the window faces a... More

Everything met our expectations not the hotel was not remarkable. Good location on the lakefront so we were able to walk everywhere in town. The pop machine ( only one ) was not working but the night security man was good enough to get us s bottle of water. Hotel was quiet, but the passers by were loudly enjoying themselves... More

Location is great - right across from the lake. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Older hotel but clean and nicely kept up. Our room was quiet and clean and beds were comfy. Towels though were thin and scratchy. We were okay doing the stairs (no elevator) but other guests may not find it too handy. NO wifi in the... More

We booked a balcony suite only to realize there are no elevators. Fortunately they have a suite on the main floor for people that cannot negotiate stairs. Nice room, good service! Bonus is the attached restaurant!

The inn is located in the core area of the resort, this makes the nearby sky trails easily accessible. The staff is well informed with regards to the resort and they really go out of their way in trying to help. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Food from the inn's restaurant was tasty, fresh and not too bad... More

Our room was clean and welcoming. The atmosphere there is something remarkable in every season. This was our first time in winter and we will be back for sure. The food is amazing. Had three meals there and all were incredible.
