Stayed on top level in a very quaint room - good size with a very comfortable queen bed; private bathroom; common sitting area (2 third floor rooms) with flatscreen; very good breakfast - fluffy omelette with sausages, fresh oj, toast...Gitte was great!

This is a very nice quaint B&B in Upper Town (Old Quebec) You are only 1/2 a block away from Rue Saint Louis, a busy little street full of shops and restaurants. The B&B has been run by the same lady since 1996 and is everything you could want in a B&B. The breakfast was more that we could eat.... More

The MHJT was a highlight or our short stay in Quebec City. The house is an attractive combination of history and comfort, without being too fussy. The location gives easy access to the entire old city on foot--which made free parking a plus, since we didn't use our car once in three days. The house is decorated with taste, avoiding... More

When you look for a B&B, you hope for a good location, a great host, a beautiful and clean room, a great breakfast, parking, and a good price. This spot far surpasses any of my expectations, it is just a slice of heaven. The location is inside the walls of Old Quebec, you walk to everything within a short distance,... More

We found this B&B on Trip Advisor. It was as was described, delightful! It is walking distance from the train station and centrally located. We walked to all the sites in Vieux Quebec City. The Philosopher's Room including the four poster bed was comfortable and the shower hot as we like it. The decor of the room has been hand... More

Everything perfect here! Location is in high city downtown, near to all attractions that can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Room are excellent, we had a double queen, large and perfectly clean, old furniture that creates so nice atmosphere. Breakfast is excellence as well, prepared in real time by the owner upon choice among several options. Parking... More

From the moment we arrived it was a special weekend! We enjoyed our spacious loft room with private bath, and the room was as quiet as could be. Guitta's variety of amazing breakfasts were a reason to get up and at it in the morning and chatting with the other guests around the breakfast table was always interesting. Staying right... More

We were last in Quebec six years ago and stayed here. I believe the place is better because all (or almost all) of the rooms now have private bathrooms. The breakfast is still great, served around a large table where you can chat with the other guests, who always seem to be interesting. The location within the walls is very... More

We adored this lovely and historic home, the chirping of birds and the clip-clop of carriage horses out our windows, and the warm welcome from our host. A peaceful and serene respite from the busy streets nearby. And the French toast is to die for! Thank you Guitta: we hope to visit again someday!

We once again relied on Trip Advisor in the selection of a B&B and once again we were rewarded with an excellent experience. You can't beat the location of the Maison - it really is in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of the major attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The rooms are cozy and nicely decorated.... More
