We were staying in a small, but cozy room. Great location, short walking to all points of interesting. The dinner for two included in Travelzoo package is fantastic. Really enjoyed the one-night stay there. Highly recommended!

So glad everyone spoke English! I had been told the French Canadians are rude to Americans but I did not find that to be true. Other than the staff at one crepe restaurant, everyone was polite. The coffee was very strong!

My husband and I have stayed here multiple times and with good reason - it's a quaint and lovely gem in old Quebec. Reserve parking when you reserve your room. Also, book directly with the hotel and you will get free breakfast which is really good (real scrambled eggs, coffee is delicious, croissants, the usual waffle machine, beans, fresh fruit,...

We stayed here for 2 nights, not having visited QC before. The hotel is situated quite high up the hill but an easy enough climb even with the baby's buggy, and very central for all the various tourist attractions. There's a drop off spot right opposite the hotel, we were able to unload the car and check in, and then...

This is a small boutique hotel, very well located in Old Quebec. The hotel is small, clean, quiet and the personnel is very friendly. Some rooms do have a window facing a wall... Breakfast is ok (missing bacon and REAL maple syrup). Parking is NOT included and only a few small spaces are available. This is by far the best...

My favorite city in North America is Quebec City. I have been going there for many years and stayed at many of the hotels . But having discovered Hotel Champlain, I stay there every visit to this wonderful city. It is situated inside the walls, has parking and makes it convenient to walk and enjoy what the city has to...

This hotel is an excellent place to stay. The pricing is affordable, the décor trendy and fresh, all the while being spotless and in the middle of the action without being noisy. I really can't say enough about the Hotel Champlain. It's almost too good to be true. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed at this charming hotel for two nights before boarding a cruise ship. The manager had to pick us up at the train station due to a brief taxi strike, which he did promptly and cheerfully (for a fee). He also recommended Ciel restaurant, which was fabulous. We had a view of a brick wall, but we knew that...

The Hotel Champlain is in the centre of la Vielle Ville de Quebec and is close to everything - restaurants, the Chateau Frontenac, the petit champlain, etc.. Our room was wonderful - spacious, tastefully decorated with a view over the city. The breakfast was delicious - one of the best hotel breakfasts I've enjoyed. The espresso machine in the lobby...

This is a really basic hotel but it is clean, staff is friendly, location is pretty good (15 min to old center) and the price is relatively low so it is not this may not be such a bad deal if you are looking for something simple. Breakfast is included but you are better off in one of the small...
