Our Stay at Manoir Mon Calme was great. The location of the B&B is perfect to roam around during the winter carnival. We were able to walk to every site and watch the parade from our front porch. The Caretaker was very accommodating as to what time we were able to check in and park our vehicle. If you ask...

When we get there we parked in the back but the staff told us they had no more parking and we'd have to park elsewhere. He then told us there was a $20 24 hour parking down the street but that we could just park on the street out front for free after 9 PM and that parking there is...

I stayed here for the third time in August of 2016. The location is great and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Paul and his wife provide a full 'American' breakfast with eggs, fresh fruit and croissants. Parking is available behind the house. Definitely recommend to anyone!

The caretaker, Jean Philippe, of the B&B was most welcoming and informative of the amenities and facilities. Paul and Jean, the host and hostess, served us excellent breakfasts. Our room was spacious and clean with a comfortable queen-sized bed..there was also a trundle bed which we did not use. The en suite bathroom was also spacious and clean. Our travelling...

This is a tough review because positive aspects were very good, yet I cannot overlook negative aspects. Overall, I would recommend this place, but certain preparations should be made so the trip goes smoothly. Let me start with the difficult portion: 1. Check-in issues. We arrived on a Monday evening at 6:15PM, with no idea where to park or how...

This felt like a boarding house. All bedrooms and no living room to hang out in. There is little to no interaction with the owners. We only saw them at breakfast when the only conversation was about whether we wanted eggs or an omelet. The breakfast is mediocre. Nothing special. White and wheat bread sit on a counter as do...

We visited Manoir Mon Calme during Carnival - it's on Grande Allee, just a hair outside the restaurant area but totally walkable to everywhere. We had a lovely room on the main floor looking out onto the street - excellent for people watching. I imagine that it could be noisy during the summer but it was very quiet when we...

This property is well located. But it is a disappointing experience. We were not welcomed by anyone, to receive the keys and info about the area. We arrived to a locked door with a code. We called the number next to the door to receive instructions of where our room was and how to enter and park. We had room...

We had a lovely time at the Manoir Mon Calme. Jean Philippe was so nice and helped us up the stairs with our bags. No elevator! We only stayed one night, but it was within walking distance of Old Quebec City and any many restaurants were only minutes away. The breakfast was hot and immediately served the following morning when...

Our thanks to the owner and manager of Manoir Mon Calme for making our 5-day stay a total success. A glitch in our reservation resulted in some anxious moments at check-in, but Jean Philippe, the manager, and Paul, the owner resolved it to our total satisfaction. We really enjoyed our queen bed room on the first floor. Very high ceilings...

“There are many stairs in this place - stairs to the front door, stairs down to the breakfast room, and computer area, stairs to the second floor. To minimize this, I would suggest asking for a room on the main floor.”
