Lovely walk up property near everything you want to do in Quebec City. Rooms are individually decorated and charming. Breakfast area was sunny and bright. Staff was exceptional. One downside only. No elevator. But I would stay there over and over.

Charming small hotel. Helpful staff Good breakfast served. Comfy bed and sitting area The restaurant , Chez Jules is right in this hotel , which is where you come down for breakfast. Can walk everywhere but very hilly town and lots of steps. Great restaurants and shops all around.

We loved this little hotel for the real Québec City experience. Our room was eclectic and comfortable. The housekeepers were friendly and kept it immaculate. The location cannot be beat- you can walk anywhere in the upper town and hop on the funicular to get to the lower town. Breakfast was great, huge croissants, boil your own egg (just like the hotel in Nice I stayed at), fresh pain de compagne. And the wait staff retrieved my Apple Pencil I let slip into the cushion of the little banquette we sat at. Couldn’t have been nicer! We did not try the restaurant for dinner but by the hordes of people dining in the evening it looks quite popular. I really enjoyed my Nespresso in the room because I get up quite early, and it was luxurious to have such a good cup of coffee under the covers. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Auberge Palace de Armes while visiting Quebec. Its old world charm along with stellar hospitality and services was exceptional. We will definitely stay here again. The staff was attentive and so helpful. The room # 1 was very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. We had everything we needed to make our stay great. We were on the first floor with a direct view of the street but never heard any noise from the outside. Very quiet for a restful sleep. The Nesoresso machine, free breakfast and gift certificate for 2 free ice cream next store were all such surprising treats. The free breakfast consisted of serve yourself fresh fruit, buttery croissants, bagels, bread, jams, liver pate. They offer yogurt with granola, coffee. Tea and a variety of fresh juice. You have to boil your own fresh egg in the steamer, but personally I found this just another added charm of this hotel. While staying at Auberge Palace de Armes, you truly feel immersed in the culture of the locals. It is centrally located and everything is with in walking distance. The Fairmont Chateau Frontenac is directly across the street as well as the funicular that takes you down to Quartier Petite Champlain. Plenty of wonderful restauranrs to eat! I highly recommend Paillard fir the best chocolate croissants, French baguettes and other baked goods. You can easily catch theUnitours coach tour busses across the street as well.. Not only is it a beautiful, small intimate hotel sans all the clumsy business of a large crowded hotel,, but it offers you everything you need for a true Quebec experience

This is a lovely little hotel that's located just off the Place D'Armes - so right across from the Chateau Frontenac. The hotel's own restaurant does a great breakfast (included with our room) and both the hotel and restaurant staff were extremely professional and helpful (and fully bilingual). Our room was in the attic and was very charming. We'd definitely look to book here next time we visit Quebec City.

Great little boutique hotel, right in the heart of the old city! They also allow dogs, which was great for us since we were travelling with our two small dogs. The attached restaurant, Jules Bistro was excellent for dinner! There are a lot of stairs, which might be difficult for someone with mobility issues, but was great for us to get our steps in ;)

Our room overlooked the square and was surprisingly quiet despite this. We enjoyed having a glass of wine in the sitting area and watching the crowds outside. The location was perfect for exploring the city on foot, and we slept soundly every night.
