Sorry this is so late. We stayed here in Late February 2020, our first trip back to Quebec City in a number of years. We found the hotel to be charming, accomodating, and conveniently located, thus in my book it is the perfect place to stay and I would stay here again. This was before the Covid-19 mess and the hotel had been closed for quite some time. I finally contacted the restaurant, Chez Jules, and complemented them for the delicious dinner we had the first night to ask the name of the hotel. I am thinking that I should return for Winterfest, the next time that the US/Canadian border is open. I do remember on our return trip to the states and crossing the border, the agent asked us if we had been to China in the last two weeks. I thought that was strange...............but now I know why.

We are a family of 4 and we loved this inn. The perfect location in Quebec City, and on a pedestrian street - so very quiet. Our room overlooked street and Chateau Frontenac. Room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 teens (teens slept in Murphy bed) room and bathroom was clean and we loved to Nespresso machine as well as breakfast delivered to the door every morning. Would stay here again! Staff were friendly and we loved eating at Chez Jules (downstairs) on the patio. It was an incredibly hot few days, but the AC in the room worked perfectly. Covid measures were adhered to and we felt safe.

Enjoyed our stay. We wish the bathroom door wasn't so see thru (a little too much information) but the room was decorated beautifully, the staff was wonderful, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the location outstanding. In a heart beat we would stay again. The hotel added tremendously to our memorable stay in Quebec!

I booked this on Hotels.com kind of last minunte as we had emergency travel plans change. We booked the loft as we have a family of three and we wanted to have lots of space. The room itself was full of history and rich with unique decor. The bathtub was deep and had a seperate shower. There are two king size beds in this room and a kitchen and sitting area. There is also a tv, fireplace and ample closet space. The bathroom had quite a few tiles that seemed as though they were in need of repair, and/or moulding and the overflow drain cover kept falling off on me while I was bathing, which made me think this room could use an update, but the rest of the room was great. I had requested no feathers in my booking and after having an allergic reaction, I realized that they had neglected to remove the feather bedding from the room. I am still dealing with the repercussions with this, and during the Coronavirus this caused some panic for me and my family. The only thing (other than the feathers) that I would change, is the parking situation. The parking wasn't valet, which we would have preferred, and the lot is a city parking lot underground a block and a bit away. This is pretty inconvenient, especially if you came by yourself at a peak time, if you had to leave your luggage unattended or drag it all the way from the parking garage. We were parking in front of the hotel which was a busy street, so we couldn't stay parked there long. Valet would be a better option (if they do have it, it was not offered). The waiter in the restaurant was amazing and so funny. I would highly recommend going there (I'm sad I didn't catch his name). All the waitstaff was so friendly and welcoming. The coffee in the morning was also amazing, and the breakfast food was good, but a little pricey.

We travelled to Quebec City together in February 2020. Although very cold we had a very nice getaway together and would revisit for sure. Our hotel was The Auberge and was very nice offering a fantastic complementary meal.
