A great place to stay situated on the Grande Allee with parking behind the house and convenient for buses into the city. Breakfasts were wonderful, beautifully presented and varied each day. Our bedroom was comfortable with an en suite adjoining. The only criticism is that we would have liked access to a kettle to make an early cup of tea!...

We had a very enjoyable three nights at this B&B in a lovely neighborhood 1.5 mile outside of walled center city Quebec. Parking was onsite. It was an easy taxi ride, although a bus is available, and the walk not too far on a good day. The hosts were gracious and helpful. The delicious full breakfast changed daily, as well...

What a wonderful stay we had at Couette & Cafe L'Arvidienne. We were there for just two nights during a recent trip to Quebec city. The breakfast is delicious and filling, with fresh baked goods, fresh fruit, nuts & cheese, coffee/tea, and a warm meal. Located on a bus line to take you downtown, or close enough to walk as...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at L'Arvidienne. Your hosts, Mireille and Serge, are kind and helpful, and Mireille is a fantastic cook. The location is a bit far from the center: a 15-20 minute walk from the Musee de Beaux Arts and Avenue Cartier; about 30 min. to walk to Old Quebec. You can walk on Grande Allee, or through...

This is a house, set across from the Plains of Abraham, in a quiet, upper-middle class neighborhood. Restaurants are a brisk 15 minute walk to the east (don't drive - no parking!). Parking is behind the house and is rather tight. Our host, Serge, welcomed us, gave us a tour of the house and our room, and recommended a good...

My husband and I recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in Quebec City. We stayed at the L'Arvidienne for two nights. This is a beautiful home situated in a quiet upscale Montcalm neighborhood; very close to the Plains of Abraham. Mireille was a very welcoming hostess, with helpful information about sights, transportation etc. The breakfasts were gourmet fare, with the...

Mireille was a wonderful hostess. We wish we could have stayed in this beautiful B&B and city longer on our trip. We had a room with a sitting room, wonderful bed, tasteful decorations and great bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful. We arrived on a Saturday and Mireille directed us to the city - a long but nice walk through the park....

Couette & Café L'Arvidienne was the perfect place for us to stay for four nights including my 65th birthday. Mireille took care of dinner reservations, whale watching reservations and making sure we left every morning with such a fabulous breakfast that we had no desire to eat lunch. There were chocolates by the bed every night and big fluffy bath...
