Best breakfast we have ever had while travelling! Claude was very accommodating and hospitable and went the extra mile for us. The home had a Historic charm and was within a 15 minute stroll to the foot of old Quebec! Highly recommend for a group - we were 3 couples and each had our own room and facilities.

Only a few minutes’ walk away from Old Quebec City, there is a quaint and cozy B&B. Its dark green doors and window frames, wooden bench as well as variety of herb and flower pots make it a distinguishable building in Rue la Champlain. My family, husband, two children, mother and I spent five happy days of August 2016 here....

For a wonderfully authentic Vieux-Quebec experience, look no further. Maison La Chapeliere is a true find, just a ten-minute stroll to the heart of lower-town (and the funicular to upper-town) and a five-minute (slightly more energetic) walk to the 396 stairs that lead to the Plains of Abraham and La Grande Allee. We came to Quebec for a week to...

This B&B is awesome. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfasts tasty and the host (Claude) is both amicable and extremely helpful. The B&B's location is also great, it's a 5-10 minute walk to many little shops and restaurants. Will definitely stay here on my next visit!

I visited Quebec for a few days and had the pleasure to stay in this B&B for one night. The location is excellent with a view of the St Laurence River and within close walking distance of Quebec City. The room was clean and very delightful and the amenities were great! spent a weeks vacation in Quebec City during the music festival and had the privilege of staying with friends at Maison La Chapeliere. We had a warm welcome from Claude and shown around the house, the renovations are impeccable and yet the old charm is still in-tacked. The breakfasts provided each morning were delicious, we looked forward to the next...

Three couples stayed at the B and B for two nights and enjoyed not only the charm of the accommodations, but also the charm of the host, Claud. The stone walls, wood floors, private washrooms, modern kitchen, and large table in the seating area made for a very comfortable stay in an historic building at the foot of the cliff....

We had a really enjoyable stay in Quebec City. The house is very well located and spotlessly clean. Claude was a wonderful host and chef..he cooked us fantastic breakfasts each morning and was very helpful with any questions we had about the city. The hot tub on the roof was an extra treat..as was the bottle of wine he left...

After a long day of travel to Quebec we received a warm welcome from Claude and a tour of his lovely Bed & Breakfast. By that time we were hungry for dinner so Claude gave us a map of the city and pointed out how to get to the restaurant(s) we had researched ahead of time. He reassured us that...

Maison La Chapeliere & Claude once again exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Claude who helped us with our bags and helped to re-familiarize us with his b&b. It was like coming back to a good friend after being away for 2 years. This is referred to as a b&b since you do have a nice comfortable...

“There are three rooms available. We had the room on the second floor that faces the street. Although you'll have a bit of noise from the cars (which is not much since it's a quiet street to start with), we felt that the view of the St.Lawrence river was worth it. We would select that room again.”
