Nice hotel, excellent location, very close to Via Rail train station, just in front of an interesting market. Well prepared staff that helped us a lot and very good breakfast waiting for you at your room door! Excellent!!! Locals play a kind o "bocha" in the place of Bordeaux (in front of hotel) being observed by people enjoying a drink...

Large room, Breakfast put outside in an insulated bag, on a hook beside the door, great idea, with fruit juice, muffins, croissants, milk for coffee, butter and cutlery. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Bathroom decent size! Central to red bus line, walk to old town! Quebec and her people are lovely and seem to welcome the interest we had! The...

This hotel meets one's expectations. Front desk staff efficient, friendly, informed and helpful. Room clean, secure, well decorated and quiet. Pricing fair. Some reviews have questioned location. It is an short uphill (then downhill) walk to main City attractions. The advantage is this provides a respite from crowds and noise. Across the street from daily farmers market and water. I...

This review has been pending a year. Better late than never. My wife and myself spent a few nights at this small but elegant hotel and we must say that it was a such a pleasant. From its location to the ever helpful staff this hotel gives us every reason to return. I would definitely recommend it.

We had very good 3 nights in this hotel, nice spacious room, good bed, quiet at night. Breakfast can be better but there are plenty of cafes around and farmer market right across the street with baguettes and wonderful local cheeses. The only problem is that it require 10 min hike up the hill to get to main attraction area.

I stayed here during the music festival and we loved it! It was directly across from the river and the farmers market. We had a room facing the main road and noise was never a problem. Lovely room with nice kitchen amenities. We loved the breakfast each morning always a good variety. Not far from lovely shops and cafes. It...

We enjoyed two nights in Quebec City at Hotel des Coutellier. It was conveniently located just steps from the Gare du Palais station (we took the Orleans express from Montreal) and enjoyed an athletic uphill walk from the hotel to all of the sites in old town Quebec City. We were warmly greeted by the reception staff and provided with...

I say "buried treasure" because one may overlook this amazing hotel due to location in the "lower" part of Quebec City and that would be a HUGE mistake! It is one of the many reasons we loved it. It was back from the main street such that you heard no street noise. It is RIGHT across the street from the...

We had a great trip to Quebec for the 4th of July weekend. This hotel was a great place to call home during our visit. The continental breakfasts delivered to your room each morning was a nice touch and the staff was very helpful and courteous.

What a find. Very comfortable boutique hotel just outside the walls of the old city which made walking everywhere simple! Good room size coupled with tastefully modern style made for true comfort when not exploring this fine city. The staff were exceptional ... friendly and helpful in every way, French or English! Breakfast delivered to room each morning was "typically...
