Hotel is very ordinary with very small rooms, claustrophobic comes to mind! Do not recommend it, way too expensive for what you get which is a drab room with no parking or breakfast included. A rip off!!!
We stayed one night in Old Quebec at Hotel Maison du General at 72 rue St-Louis. It is an old hotel and doesn't have an elevator (we were on first floor) and we LOVED it. It has been recently remodeled and had great water pressure, plenty of hot water, a nice LED flat screen…

Beautiful location in the heart of Old Fort Quebec City Stone brick manor hotel that really has not modern amenities, no phone in roon, no elevator to third floor with spiral stairways. It feels like you have been transported back to 1849. Really cool and rooms on Third Floor…
We stayed for two days and found the hotel perfectly located for our day trips to old Quebec. Cute, European feel to the rooms and loved the stone walls. Wifi is weak on the third floor but works pretty well if you lay the phone on the floor. Staff was friendly.
"Rooms on top of building, though cheap, are very small."
"great charming hotel in stone 1849 manor rooms, just in the heart of Old Fort Quebec"
"Avoid room #9 unless you get a screaming deal and you weight 150lbs or less.I suspect rooms 3+6 are of similar configuration."
"The back rooms are quieter but small. The third floor has no wifi"
"Don't get room #1 or street side unless you're hard of hearing!"
