Recently stayed at this hotel while on a work trip, and I was amazingly surprised about my basic room. The hotel from the exterior looks like a motel, but as they say, don't judge a book by its cover. On my late summer night arrival, a gas fire pit was lit up next to the main entrance and the campfire setup with chairs and umbrella made it really welcoming. The front desk staff was really nice, welcoming and attentive. On my way to the room, the hallways seemed narrow but once in the room, I was wowed. The choice of furniture, LED lightings and design was up to standard of most 5 stars hotel I stayed in. The mattress and bedding were really comfortable and the offering of snacks and beverage in the room was welcomed. The room was super clean and the large shower in the bathroom was a really nice touch. I enjoyed it so much that I have booked 2 more stays in the coming week and cancelled my stays at my regular hotel. I am looking forward to stay there again, I really suggest this hotel to business travelers or for those needs a room in Quebec. Its location closed to the Quebec bridge makes it perfect for those who are just looking for a good night sleep on their way to the maritime.

Honestly we chose this hotel was because of EV charge for our road trip. For around the same price, there are more options in this city. It’s about 10-15 mins drive to Quebec Old Town. Free shuttles available, 2 departures in the morning and 2 returning in the evening. Like previous reviews had mentioned, this used to be an older hotel and transformed the rooms into a more stylish modern decor. It wasn’t a complete makeover so certain things did look dated such as card key reader to enter is from the first generation. Overall room is clean as well as bedsheets are crisp. There are no elevators so if you carry a lot of luggage, then request to be on ground floor. There is a French restaurant on property with good reviews but we didn’t get a chance to try for dinner. We had breakfast buffet in same restaurant for $12 per person.

Thank you for taking the time to share with us your impressions on your recent stay in our establishment. We are sorry to read that your time with us wasn't at the height of your expectations. Be aware that 3 years ago, we renovated all of our bedrooms, custom furniture, high-end bed, LED lighting fixture everywhere and wallpaper. We are currently in submissions with a local company to replace all of our door locks, and the carpet of our corridors is expected to be entirely replaced next fall. We always do our best to offer all of our customers a choice between the first and the second floor. Since we can't always give that option, it is always a pleasure for our devoted employees to help with the luggage and the doors. Cordially, François Lamarre, Supervisor

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sepia. Staff were very friendly and helpful with directions to the city Center. All we encountered spoke wonderful English with no issue. Packaged our stay with tickets for the aquarium which is a 5-10 minute walk away. A 10-15 minute drive had us parked and ready to see Vieux-Quebec. Room was very nice with a very clean and well appointed bathroom. Rooms are not huge but we had plenty of room. Only issue we encountered was there weren’t a lot of plugs around for charging devices although there was a station at the desk with a couple plugs and USB ports. Just needed bedside plug for CPAP machine.

We stayed at this hotel out of necessity because of the weather not permitting us to drive back home. It’s a nice hotel, the rooms are tastefully decorated and the staff are very helpful and polite. Only two Downsides: -We rented a room thinking that the price we paid included breakfast, unfortunately it wasn’t included. We’ve stayed in much cheaper hotels that included breakfast and other perks so we were disappointed. -We came in late and we woke up the client above us. We could hear them walking around above us and they clearly heard our 4 month old baby crying.

Thank you for taking the time to share with us your comments on your recent stay in our establishment. We are happy to read that you appreciated our installations and the courtesy of our staff! Outside of our numerous packages, the breakfast is indeed not included. The Hotel and the restaurant are two different entities, preventing us from including the breakfast in our rates. The Restaurant doesn't "belong" to the Hotel. We are truly sorry we couldn't include it in your rate! As for the exchange of noises between your room and the room above yours, we will investigate on the matter. Usually, due to the Hotel's construction materials used, there shouldn't be a problem on that side. We have to heart our customer's sleep, and such a situation greatly concerns us. Cordially, François Lamarre Supervisor
