The room looked clean, but somehow felt dirty. The carpet on the stairs and foyer was probably installed when the Beatles were still together. Years of spilled beer was covered with copious amounts of air freshener. The whole building gave the impression (and smell) of slowly rotting to the ground. There may be a very few remodeled rooms in this... More

Sorry about your bad experience last year in August 2015 but we just got this hotel and just opened three weeks ago this year 2016. And it's a new administration operating the hotel right now. Also the name of the hotel will be change soon and it will be "Manoir La Palme d'Or". And you can also check the new... More

This is one of the small city treasures in Quebec. Excellent service and very clean hotel in a super location just at the tip of old Quebec city, footsteps away from Frontenac and near every tourist location - especially cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended and you get service and warm greetings from the owners. Love coming back to this small... More

Manoir Sainte Genevieve is great value. It is in the perfect location walking distance to all of the sights. It's a bit dated but the rooms are clean and well kept. John is a great host and ensured our stay was enjoyable.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms are big enough, but the bathroom really is too small! In the building there was a strange smell of the old carpet. The location of the hotel was perfect: calm street, but really close to the heart of Québec.

The room was clean and tidy, the front desk man (Constantino) made special efforts for all his clients, tellin best places where to go, finding a cab, and the coffe and croissants were just excellent. I would add some fresh fruit for the beakfast besides apples and bananas... We stayed 4 days and have a wonderful time. I certainly recommend... More

Simply Terrible. We came with high hopes for mandir Sainte Genevieve but we're rudely disappointed. Location is good. But that's about it. The hotel smelled musty and was clearly in need of a good clean. Tiles were cracked in the bathroom and black mould was everywhere paint was peeling. Bed spreads were ancient. Sheets were torn. Towells were grey from... More

Choose room number one at this location for exposed stone walls, high ceilings, and comfortable beds. The air-conditioning is a bonus during humid days and nights of summer. The bathroom is small but it 'gets the job done' and we were too busy strolling the streets of old Quebec to be too concerned with that aspect. There's a small patio... More

We stayed in Quebec for for nights. The location of this hotel is great. You can walk anywhere and the promenade is only a one minute walk away. Our room was spacious. The room was not so pretty but it was sufficient for our needs. The breakfast contained croissants, toast, jam, creame cheese, peanut butter, coffee and juice. The receptionist... More

This hotel is part of a group of hotels called "Les Hotels du Parc" - my boyfriend's family and I visited for a wedding in town and we were able to take advantage of a group rate of $100/night. I stayed three nights in this hotel - two with a party of 4 and one with just the two of... More

I have been to Quebec on a number of occasions and have stayed at several of the small townhouse hotels that line the Jardins des Governeurs across from the Chateau Frontenac. Unfortunately, Manoir Ste-Genevieve was the most tired of the bunch. Peeling wallpaper, tiny bathroom (I am tall and could barely fit in with the door closed), century-old drapes, saggy... More
