When I found out that we were getting a room in the basement, We were somewhat leery. It turned out to be a surprise. The room was spacious and we loved the stonework and the fireplace. The bed was comfortable and king. The wall of the bathroom shower was in stone and a very adequate size. The breakfast waiter was... More

The hotel is on Grande Allee across from the Fine Arts Museum. Rooms are "arty" with some walls bared to the brick and bathrooms of odd shape or needing a step to reach. If you are okay with smaller and somewhat unique accomodations, you will enjoy the other amenities that include a great rooftop view with benches, chairs and a... More

Our first time in Quebec City and liked the look of the hotel while surfing online. We were not disappointed. The staff was friendly. It's a very small boutique hotel so there are not alot of people around which was perfect for us. We didn't try their breakfast as there was a Quartier du Marche 2 blocks away which we... More

I'm not sure I would stay at this hotel again. I was given one of the basement rooms... It is small and very close, although nicely furnished and finished. Unfortunately, there is no lift and although not a lot of stairs, they were hard for me due to knee issues. The breakfast was convenient but certainly a minimalist European continental... More

What a find! The hotel is located directly across from the Museum of Art on the main street leading into the walled city, which is a 15 minute walk. Cartier St. is right around the corner and is where all the locals go for shopping and dining. We found this neighborhood was better than staying with all the tourists in... More

Small room, but comfortable. Only complaint was the bedding--flat sheets too small for the bed kept coming loose. Still, this place gets a 5 rating because it exceeded expectations by far. Outstanding continental breakfast, great staff, nice rooftop terrace, excellent restaurants nearby, and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in Quebec City.

Our family of 4 stayed in the attic room Suite #306 - plenty of room and comfortable AC. The rooftop deck was equipped with a firepit where you could roast marshmallows. The view of the church tower across the street and location (20 min walk to The Old City) of this Hotel was just perfect. We really enjoyed the Museum... More

Room was clean and had a unique feel. Staff was attentive and helpful. One of them saw that there was a better parking space available and switched our assigned spot. Parking is tight in Quebec and it was great to stay somewhere in walking distance of everything. Roof top deck is a great place to relax. Quebec is a beautiful... More

The very comfortable king-sized bed made our room pretty small, but it was worth it, and the decor is very charming. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when we arrived late because our connection was late in Montreal. Cartier Street is just around the corner, the Musee de Beaux Arts across the street, and it's easy to get a... More

The staff were amazing and so very helpful. We had a basement room which was small and stuffy but I have to admit it was quiet and I slept blissfully well. The location was good and an easy walk to the walled city.
