My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Marie Rollet during our recent visit to old Quebec City and its location is definitely its best asset. Now, to enter the hotel one must first open a quite heavy front door, go up 8 rather steep steps and then open another heavy door to get into the main hallway. We had... More

This is a quaint old hotel right in the centre of old town Quebec. This is not your cookie cutter hotel rooms. All of the rooms are different. Decorated with furniture from your Grandma's house, except the beds. The beds are new and very comfortable. It all works and fits in with being in old town. Good value for the money... More

This hotel was situated within easy walking distance of the local areas of interest and restaurants. Loved the fountain opposite. We were given a warm welcome and provided with a parking permit for the multi-story car park opposite (charge per day but can come and go as wishes) . We had a basement room - it was clean and comfortable.... More

At first we thought we had it wrong: the entrance looks a little shabby ... Then we entered our room (number 4) and it is completely redone, almost like a small suite with a sofa etc.. and a nice bathroom. Maybe a little expensive owing to the first impression but we enjoyed it and could walk. Ah also, the hotel... More

Location, location, location! We loved our four nights at Hotel Marie-Rollet! We had no problems with check-in or check-out. We enjoyed the free daily coffee and kind staff. Our room, #3 was a great suite! Down a handful of steps from the main level, tucked behind reception, we had a living space with sleeper sofa in addition to king-sized bed,... More

A warm friendly welcome greets you in this small family run hotel. The room was small but very adequate with a superb view of the city lit up at night. The setting is ideal for visiting the higher aspects of the old town.

This place survives because it has a fantastic location. I do not want to slam it too hard, because I know others have enjoyed their stay here. We stayed in Room 9 which was way too small - the double bed took up most of the floor space. The washroom facilities were down the hall and they were too small... More

Shuttered windows, antique furniture. So cozy. Very short walk to shops and restaurants. Washroom a little small, but clean and private to room #1. Horse drawn carriages pass by front of hotel which adds to the character and enjoyment of the area. Wifi was great. Would stay here again .... didn't really want to leave. Best sleep of our trip.... Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It is in a great location in Old Quebec. They have access to a secure parking garage right across the street. We stayed in one of the suites which was definitely big enough for our family (2 kids 2 adults)

Let me start with the positive . The reception staff was very friendly and gave me a map and tips where to go to, like the fireworks . Check in and check out were a breeze. The hotel had a very antique and quaint feel to it. But I should say It needs some updating now but still keep that... More
