My husband and I stayed at the Chateau Laurier while attending a conference in Quebec City in early May. I had never been to Quebec City before and wanted something within walking distance close to the Plains of Abraham and the old walled city. This hotel was perfect! The rooms were spacious, the staff super friendly (the concierge Michel was...

We booked one night at this property due to close location to Grand Allee (street with all the bars and restaurants) and easy walk into Old Quebec and all the sites near the citadel and plains of abraham. It is a beautiful hotel, very large with various wings. Our room was well appointed King bed, huge windows with lots of...

Ground zero for the amazingly brutal cold winter sports and spectacle here in Quebec City! THe horse races are just outside so you can watch them while not freezing your body parts off. We were lucky enough to witness the parade after having come from the pool area so we were warm. Again, this is a brutally cold area so...

Wonderful surprise! The location was absolutely magnificent! Walking distance to everything! Took the City Tour Bus, (photo enclosed), the one with the frequent stops, to get the lay of the land! Safety was a major factor since I walk @6:00 am.. Wow!! met many tourists and locals walking early.. Warning..Please be aware that Starbuck's did not open until 7:00 am!...

We required a handicap accessible room. They were one of the few hotels that had a "roll in/walk in shower". The overall design and layout of the room was good with sufficient manoeuvring space and turn radius. The bathroom design was also well thought out with the exception of the shower. The shower bench was quite low to the floor and...

Awesome place to stay if you want to visit Old Quebec. It's walking distance to Old Quebec, the Plains of Abraham are literally in your backyard, there are so many restaurants as well and good old Starbucks across the street. The staff are very friendly and always accommodating to whatever you need. We stayed in the Plaines section which is...

My wife and I spent our 40th Wedding Anniversary at the Chateau Laurier in May this year. There are no words to express our satisfaction with the Hotel and Staff. Everyone seemed to be concerned with our happiness and well being during our stay. We felt special and can't wait to return.

I stayed 2 nights at this establishment for a work related meeting. It is well situated and has easy parking. The lobby and grounds are nice and welcoming. My issue was with the cleanliness of the room. This hotel is properly decorated for the ambiance of the surroundings (Old Quebec). But my room had not been dusted IN A WHILE...

Bonjour jazzfang, Thank you very much for all your comments, good and not so good. We need feedback in order to be better in the future, so it is greatly appreciated. We will be following up on the cleanliness of the room, given as this is one of the most important aspects of delivering a room, it's an issue where...

Very welcoming, clean and very courteous staff. Great modern rooms and close to everything Quebec City has to offer. Steps from the old town and directly across the street from Starbucks for your morning latte fix. The wine dispenser across from the elevator is a great touch. You never know when you might need a glass of wine.

The staff at Hotel Chateau Laurier was faultlessly courteous and the personable Concierge was cheery, helpful and genuinely interested in the well being of guests. Our spacious Suite came with full amenities, a fireplace, a deep jetted tub, a lavish bathroom, a cozy bed, a wide screen T V, a comfortable lounge area and a wide window for great views...
