The hotel and its staff were amazing. They’re are willing to the extra miles to please clients. Free shuttle to/from downtown and very nice drivers. It’s an oasis away from the crowed. Food was excellent, prices are reasonable and cocktails are really good. In a nice and Sunny’s day having a drink next to the pool feels so relaxing. Highly recommend visiting g this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here in April 2019 due to a flight reroute. The long walk between the lobby and room with no elevator was confusing. The room was average, the shower was exceptionally puzzling to use and once we got it turned on after spraying the entire bathroom, it had to stay on for my husband to use right after in fear it wouldn’t turn back on... it was like cracking a safe to turn it on. The bathroom was an interesting experience... there is a large semi-frosted glass window (as pictured in above photo) which happens to offer a perfect view of the toilet and person on it, within close proximity from the pillow of your bed. The bartender and porter were both professional and friendly. I would never stay here again, needless to say.

Stayed at Urbania (breakfast and 5 to 7 included). The hotel is amazing, clean and the outside jacuzzi is nice. The food quality at Monte Cristo. MC, restaurant is excellent and much better than other Hotels. You can stay there and enjoy the food quality. In the other hand is very complexe to know what you have included and the communication is not cleat (even in french). Some thing that breakfast finish at 9:00 other 9:30...Breakfast for Urbania is at the lounge but if is not busy is at the MC restaurant. So, you have to look and search for that. But, when you're there for business, you don't have time. So, I suggest the management to give written description of what is included, time and place for the Urbania & all the guests. Is not fun to run everywhere on Monday morning to find the breakfast and the time...

Stayed three nights recently. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating to the fact that I arrived quite late. My room was large and comfortable. Breakfast buffet the next morning was a bit pricey but delicious. My only concern was that the hotel is split off into quite a lot of areas and to get to my room you had to pass through a series of hallways, one which often had trash bags from the rooms nearby inside it. It too me a while in the beginning to find my room. Other than this I had a pleasant stay.

This hotel has a renovated section and a section that looks like it hadn't been maintained in the past few decades. We stayed in the old section with no warning (although you wouldn't have thought it from the price) which I would consider to be a 2-star hotel. Holes in the walls (pictures enclosed), cigarette burns in the couch, old style AC/heater in the wall that rattles and takes a few hours to heat up the room, walls so thin you can hear everything and a bed so hard you won't be able to sleep. I actually went to reception to ask what was wrong with the bed and they said everyone complains about them being too hard so I should book the new (more expensive) section on my next visit! Trust me, there will be no return visit... even if I was given a room 100% free. This was one of the worst hotels I ever stayed in. Add to this, they had multiple hidden fees we weren't told about (they claim to upkeep things like the pool which BTW is closed in the winter). Even though the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and a 15 min drive to Quebec City, they still charge a fortune for parking. The restaurant has decent food that we tried since the hotel isn't close to anything but nowhere near worth the 5-star dining prices. I could go on about the hundred other things wrong with this hotel but needless to say, be warned if you plan to stay here. We will not be back.... ever.
