This hotel feels more like a bed n breakfast .. very cozy very quaint. If you want a 5 star hotel this is not it. However this place has a continental breakfast that is more than adequate it’s clean.. the owners are very friendly. You...More
We spent a night here before boarding our cruise ship. It was just so quaint. The hotel overlooks the cruise docks and also gives just a nice view of the area. It was well located to restaurants and shops in the old town.
Hotel Manoir des Temparts is very conveniently located location in the Old Quebec City. We took a taxi from the airport directly to the hotel ($35.CAD plus tip), welcoming staff always helpful with directions and recommendations, view of the water from our room on the...More
My taxi driver had a hard time finding the place but he did it. The drive from the airport is a flat $35.00 (CDN).

The hotel staff will direct you to a small parking area near the hotel on "rue de la vieille université" and it is free. When you cannot park there (for some reasons I could not park there on sunday night) you can park on the street (just up the hill, you will see the meters) for free. Otherwise, have a car in the old town is a nightmare. If you are stuck and do not want to worry about your car, and you can afford it, park in one of the 24 hours underground parking "P". There is one that I use and is not always full is on Haldiman near the Chateau Frontenac.
