Close to everything, all within walking distance. The boardwalk is just a short walk away and hotel Frontenac. Hotel Claredon is very nice, was good to be downtown without having to drive. Lots of restaurants, feels like Europe.

Great hotel/service/personnel friendliness/etc. In couple of words: in a charming "French city culture" there MAY NOT BE bad hotels! EVERYTHING in that "culture" is good. A lot of walking - GREAT CULTURE!!!

This is a classic hotel. The oldest continuous operating hotel in Quebec. That said, what it really is, is a nice art deco piece of work. Being old, the rooms are small, the ceilings are old. We were treated with such friendliness by staff, that it made our stay lovely. For a substantial hotel, the location is maybe the best... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. Very small room. Clean appearance. Hot water cycled too hot at times while in shower. Pretty dangerous. We stayed in suite 101 and could hear the jazz band until 11pm as though we were downstairs. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the bar and restaurant was excellent. Great value. Great... More

This was advertised as a 4 star hotel so we booked it and paid in advance. We got there and the first thing we noticed was the burnt wallpaper behind the front desk along with mold and water damage on the Libby walls and ripped and stained chairs. The staff behind the dirty county were incredibly unhelpful and were so... More

I had a superior room which was very large and, as a corner room, it had windows on two walls which provided lots of light and nice views. The room was very clean and had good amenities. The bed was very comfortable. The personal was attentive. It is a comfortable hotel with good service. However there is no personal safe... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Clarendon as part of our honeymoon trip, first of all staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean, and you have some of the basic amenities needed like a hair dryer and iron. However, as much as I love vintage and character - the hotel rooms are incredibly outdated and... This hotel has a great location but there are many little boutique hotels in the area that may or may not be a better price, not sure. Room was very small but adequate. Breakfast was expensive and you were almost forced to have the buffet because everything that was a la carte was almost the same as having the buffet,... More
