Hotel is in a great location-- right at the end (beginning?) of the Grande Allee. The lobby is nice but smaller than it appears in pictures since more than half is the restaurant/bar and separated by glass. We got the top floor rooms which are newer and I think bigger. The rooms were decent size. The bathroom was ok size...

Our room was a little small and somewhat dated. The staff was excellent. The location is within walking of everything in the Old city and can't be beat. I would definitely stay here during future visits to Quebec City

The hotel is located in a great area, close to restaurants and shops. The room price was not bad based on Quebec standards, underground parking across the street was 17.50 CAD and although the hotel provided breakfast it was not free. The staff was friendly and attentive and the room was very clean with a comfortable bed. The room was...

Stayed for our last night in Canada on the way to Montreal. Being a busy season in Quebec we have booked a room in Clarendon having paid a premium rate. Room was indeed very nice with super comfy bed. No complaints whatsoever. Very decent size and on the top floor although without a view (back yard with just buildings around)....

Went for Weekend in Sept. Front Desk was very quick and helpful at check in. Room had two large beds plenty of room, bath tub was a little old fashioned. High sides but had no trouble getting in and out. Lots of hot water. TV in room. The only thing was it would have been nice to have a coffee/tea...

Dear Derick, Thanks for this awesome review! We pride ourselves with the historic charm our rooms offer : its a bit like a time-travel in the heart of Nouvelle-France, but with all the modern comfort needed! I might add that we recently changed our coffee machines and all of them are now Keurig machine. Easy to use, its the best...

Hotel Clarendon was the perfect place to call home during out 10-day visit to Quebec City! The lobby, jazz bar, restaurant and room were all representative of this hotels beauty and history. Our particular room was nothing too fancy, but was clean, roomy and comfortable. The best feature of our room was the view looking toward the river and on...

Arrived off cruise ship but didn't get a room till after 5pm. Staff were not helpful, arrived with a chest infection, receptionist informed me that if I smoked in my room I would get fined, never smoked in my life,so felt insulted. Breakfast buffet $20+ Location is the only strong point in this hotel.

Dear Margaret D., Thanks for reviewing your most recent stay at our property. We are sorry for the check-in delay, if it has been possible to register your reservation earlier we would have done so, due to the medical issue you are living with. I am afraid that day guests checked-out late, which had consequences on the speed of work...

The stay at Hotel Clarendon was great. The location was exceptional and within walking distance to the historical sights, shopping and restaurants. We arrived earlier than the checkin time and our luggage was safely secured. Once checked in found our room to be very comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and knowledgable on what to see and how to get...

The room we had (two double beds) was on a smallish side but adequate. Same for bathroom. The hotel is really well located. Staff is amiable and courteous. Since we already know the city we did not use their advice for tourist attraction but I heard them help other people and the advice they provided seemed knowledgeable and friendly.
