Fabulous place to stay. Yolanta was an excellent host, her rooms were exquisitely decorated and very clean. It was in the heart of Old Quebec City and in walking distance of everything. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Location is excellent. The room was nicely furnished, very spacious and equipped with a small fridge. The beds were nice, although a bit firmer than I'm used to. We had great access to the terrace where we enjoyed sitting out in the sun with a glass of wine. Although breakfast was basically the same everyday, it offered a variety of... More

We just returned from 5 days, 4 nights in Quebec, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to stay at Castel d'Amerique Francaise! We appreciated the prompt, ongoing email communications with the owner for the months leading up to our visit. We loved the warmth and friendliness and helpfulness of the owner during our stay without obtrusiveness sometimes found... More

We spent three nights at Castel d'Amérique Française with friends from France and loved the place. We had the two rooms that open on the terrace--one is on the second floor and one on the third, and I suggest reserving one of the rooms if available, but keep in mind it requires going up and down several stairs (no elevator).... Stayed for 3 night and we loved it! We had 2 kids (5 and 2) and it worked really well! Breakfast was amazing with only high quality stuff (different cheeses and cakes). My wife who is always worried about food for the kids could not be more happier! We definitely recommend!

We had such a great time. We enjoyed the breakfast and the host. The place is very nice to stay at. I like how it maintained the European feel and decor. There is no elevator but it did not bother me. We had our own balcony with a view of the city. You will not regret staying here.

After staying in Montreal for 3 days, we traveled by rail to Quebec City for 3 days there. We loved our stay at the Castel - the room was spacious, the breakfast was varied and filling, and the hotel was conveniently located in the Old City and within walking distance to everything we wanted to visit, especially since Quebec City... Upon checking in we're told they don't accept credit cards. Now we need to scramble to come up with over $600 in cash. Not a pleasant way to start our visit to Quebec City. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was breads, cereals, yogurt and cake. Better than Holiday Inn Express breakfast but certainly not up to B... More

I stayed here with my 10 year old nephew and it was perfect. We had a beautiful room with AC, a life saver as it was very hot. The breakfast satisfied both our needs. We were able to easily walk to all the sights in Old Quebec and the parliament. The whole experience was phenomenal!

My friend and I went to Quebec City for 5 days. Stayed at this B & B. The experience was wonderful from beginning to end. The building has impeccable old work charm and the location is perfect, being right in the heart of things but, on a side street which makes it quite. The rooms are wonderful and user friendly...
