My wife and I just spent a few days here and we were very impressed. They are very commited to a safe, COVID-aware stay all the while maintaining many of their services including a beautiful view of the lake at their dock and a physically distanced firepit. The rooms are immaculate, cozy and comfortable. Pierre and his wife are extremely friendly and welcoming, taking care of details big and small. If we could have we would have stayed for longer, we would have.

Thank you so much for the comment. We are happy that you enjoyed and felt safe lodging at our location. During those pandememic times, the safety of our guest is our first goal and we will maintain that commitment as long as it needs to be done. People needs to find places where they could relax and feel safe to be able to really enjoy their vacation this summer and it is our goal to give them that feeling. It seems we successed in your case and we are happy about it :-)

Thanks Pierre and Linda for a wonderful stay. Breakfast was delicious! We appreciated that you lended us snowshoes for the whole group. We really enjoyed a walk by the lake. The landscape is beautiful in winter! Kitchen was very convenient to have a comfy dinner at your place. Please say hello to your very nice neighbour!

Beautiful, cozy home for our two night stay a short drive from Quebec City. They worked very hard to accommodate our special dietary needs and were very sweet to our children. The views of the lake were awesome. The grounds are fantastic. We felt at home. Host gave us great information for sightseeing as well. Only suggestion for improvement would be the check out. We expected to have our card charged that we gave with the reservation. Instead, we had to present a card at our last breakfast to be charged for our stay. Would be lovely if we just had to sign and if the charge would automatically run. Especially if we had to leave early that morning. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed during our honeymoon and could not have been more happy! The location is gorgeous and the rooms are unbelievably cozy. We were served a different breakfast each morning (each as delicious as the one before- and we are desperately searching for recipes to recreate them!!), and had access to kayaking on the lake whenever we wanted. The room itself was spacious and cozy- it had so many amenities, we were never in need of anything. Can not wait to go back!

We stayed here 4 nights for our honeymoon and were greeted upon arrival by a very hospitable Pierre! The spaciousness, warmth, creativity, décor, and cleanliness of their home and our room in particular, surpassed our expectations. First-time visitors to Quebec, Pierre's guidance and plethora of pamphlets eased our minds about where to go and how to successfully navigate the city and surrounding area. Linda spoiled us every morning with breakfasts that also surpassed our expectations - Fresh fruit and tofu smoothies, Almond croissants, Eggs Benedict, baked apple slices encased in gluten free crepes topped with a smattering of maple glaze, along with fresh fruit beautifully sculpted into works of art by Pierre. The environment (inside and out) is peaceful, quiet, and relaxing (Zen-like) . Unless you joined them for breakfast, you would never know other visitors were sharing this same space. . Besides the supremely delicious and plentiful breakfasts, another favorite amenity is the jet tub! Perfect remedy after a day of exploring the sites and sounds of Old Town on foot! Which, by the way, is a short and easy drive from Le Gite du Hu-Art. We highly recommend Le Gite du Hu-Art and will stay here again when we return to Quebec. Merci, Pierre and Linda for your hospitality. Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Nora Natale, Skowhegan, Maine
