My phone was dead, and my friends made my reservations for me. Their hostel owner would not let me contact my friends by any means because they were upstairs. The hostel owner called me racist remarks towards my Chinese ethnicity and then boasted about how he will run his hostel "his" way. I offered to pay for a new room... More

I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life. The staff was incredibly rude and intolerant and made us feel very uncomfortable. As an adult, I do not expect to be yelled at inexplicably, which is exactly what happened. My partner and I have traveled quite extensively around the world and this was absolutely the worst hostel experience.... More

This place is the WORST... Read their policies very carefully. If you can't make it within their 3:00-9:00 pm check-in time they will charge your card $135.00 late check-in!!!! Their site notes a fee, but does not note how much. How can it be legal to charge $135 on a $17 reservation. Not worth it to take your chance on... More

I made a reservation at this hostel but then I realized that the check-in time closes at 9 PM. As my train was supposed to arrive at 9:40 PM I would only be able to arrive to the hostel at 10 PM. I called the hostel to find an agreement. The receptionist was not only unfriendly but even insulted me... More

Worst hostel I've ever stayed at. The washroom was ridiculously small, I guess the owner couldn't even afford 1 hanger in the washroom. Room was dirty and hot, We were given 1 small fan to share between 8 people in mid-late Aug, the hottest season during the whole year. We were over charged by 43 cents. When I called, the... More

Nothing about this hostel is even basically acceptable. Owner is dour and unfriendly, and the facilities are grossly undersized for the number of beds that have been crammed in. Kitchen is tiny, lacking cooking equipment, and wasn't cleaned once in the 3 nights we stayed there. Bathrooms were similar - poorly maintained and cleaned poorly. There is a cafe at... More

Stayed here for three days over Carnaval. Pierre a and Skipper (dog) are both lovely and more than willing to help. The roons can get a bit crowded, if full & the bed is shocking but there's free coffee/tea and toast/spred in the morning. Free wifi, free computers, located close to old town (free elevator) nothing wrong at all as... More

Went with two friends, stayed for two nights in a three bed room. Would not do it again. Very rude staff, bathrooms were terrifying (not even hand soap), rooms were okay but the locks were funny. Someone else ended up coming into our room in the middle of the night thinking it was his. He was super cool about it,... More

I stayed there 3 nights in a two bed dorm, but only me live there. One night after having a dinner outside, I went back to my room but the room was totally opened. I was pretty sure I locked the door when I went out around 7pm. It scared me so I went downstairs to tell the owner the... More
