The price is a very good deal, cheaper than what I would pay for a hotel in the middle of nowhere in the US. The bed was ok, it was close to Old Quebec, museums, Plains of Abraham. Good coffee for breakfast, not watery stuff cheaper places often have. Bananas, cereal, toast (with good bread), OJ, for breakfast (included in... More

The location is OK, there is a bus stop around the corner with a good service The room is very simple, basic and a bit old. The breakfast is poor, it is fresh but has only bread and jam. It feels like a hostel with single rooms. The bed and the shower are good. The staff is friendly and helpfull

First contact with Canadians and it was absolutely horrible. Rude like I never seen. To be honest we haven't stayed at "Manoir Charest (such a big word for this building....you really know what is a "manoir" ? Check the building...it has nothing to do with a "manoir"). Anyway... We reserved through Expedia.com a room, it was good price and location... More

My sister and I booked into Manoir Charest for the recent Pearl Jam concert. Upon arrival, we were politely greeted by Daniel at the front desk. He was very friendly and accommodating and provided us with information regarding the neighborhood and local attractions. Our room was clean, cozy and included all the standard amenities that you'd expect from a hotel.... More

A little outdated but a nice place to start our adventure. Right on the corner of the street with maybe 5 carparks. We easily walked through the main parts of town and back. 2 streets over from a nice street of restaurants. Nice basic breakfast served. Not a bad little place to stay :)

Stayed in this hotel for two nights after being in Montreal for 3 days. Me and my wife stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and we are really happy with it. The owner is a really nice guy. The location is very close to the old quebec and close to main streets and restaurants. We are fully satisfied with... More

We had a fairly large room with two double beds on the second floor. The bathroom was very small, just fitting in a toilet and shower cubicle with a hand basin located in the bedroom. We did see that a nearby room with only one double bed in it had a much larger bathroom, so if you only need one... More

This was all about the location. Just a few blocks from the lower city, the location was perfect. I had a small room on the 2nd floor. It was a single room, with a shared bathroom with the other guests on the floor. Breakfast choices in the morning were good. The people who worked there were friendly and helpful with... More

Manoir Charest is conveniently located for a driver on a busy thoroughfare, close to public transport. It's not close to old Quebec city, although you can walk or take a bus. When the owner gets the right offer, the building is coming down for a seven-story office building. As a result, no special attention is paid to this creaky old... More

We found this hotel here from TripAdvisor and contacted them directly for pricing and availability. We found a better price on Booking.com and went to check out the hotel in person before booking. We told the front desk gentleman that we found a better price of $99/nt online and he offered to match it, but parking was extra. The room... More
