Our party of three thoroughly enjoyed a shared room at this B&B in large part due to the warmth and gracious hospitality of owner/manager Nathalie. She is someone who really enjoys people, and creating multi course breakfasts is her way of seeing that her guests start the day on a very positive note. The B&B is located on a quiet...

Where else do you find such a diligent and alert B&B hostess who, when you arrive, jumps into your car and helps to steer you around the congested block ‒ not once, but twice ‒ in order to secure a prime parking spot (not occupied by those with stickers who actually live on the street) that's good for the entire...

Congratulations on always providing great customer service and breakfasts that appeal to your eyes and tummies. This is our 4th visit. We have nothing but good things to say. The location couldn't be better. It's close to the metro, main streets, tourist attractions and shopping. The breakfasts look like pictures from a Chatelaine magazine. There is always an explosion of...

We stayed at A l'Adresse du Centre-Ville as part of our Fall vacation. We loved the great service provided by Natalie. Her place is welcoming, clean, close to the subway and above all her breakfasts were delicious and artistically presented. I highly recommend this B&B. We loved our stay. Thank you Natalie for your dedication.

We started searching for a room in Montreal at the last minute and were having very little luck finding vacancies anywhere except the expensive large hotels. I found a list of B+Bs in Canada and narrowed it down to Montreal. We found this B+B with one room left and immediately booked it. It's tough to add to all the other...

Great location, close to greyhound, metro, and airport shuttle. Walking distance to old Montreal, gay village and parks. Friendly owner who gave me a map and highlighted where the b&b is and how to get to tourist locations. Clean and air conditioning works great!

My hostess Natalie gave me perfect directions to get there. the bus from the airport stopped literally 5 minutes walk from her place. it was close to a park, loads of eating places around, and if you took the 'hop on hop off' tour bus, it literally went past so it was easy to get back to when I was...

Delicious breakfast, warm hospitality, and a great location for walking everywhere in the city! Less than 30 minutes to Vieux Montreal, 5 minutes to Rue Saint Denis. We loved the creative homemade preserves and breakfast dishes. It was fun to share the breakfast table with travellers from other parts of the world.

We stayed for 3 nights at a street level and street facing room, only two steps from the sidewalk yet we had one of the best sleeps ever. No noise, superquiet, great bed, lovely room. We loved it and the breakfasts prepared by Natalie each morning were the best start for a day walking around Montreal. Each day a different...

We stayed here over the weekend the Jazz festival was on in Montreal. We were walking distance or a short train ride away from everything we wanted to see, even the airport is only 1 bus ride away. We felt welcome and comfortable and particularly enjoyed socialising with other guests over a delicious, home made breakfast each morning. Thank you...

Staying in The Village (Gay Village)

Neighborhood Profile
The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomized by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
