This was a great find in the Latin quarter of Montreal. It was easy to walk to most sites and the rooms were glorious. Two bedrooms, kitchen, washer dryer and gorgeous tub. You have to pay extra for parking but its worth it. Great breakfast

We recently stayed three nights at the Victorian Heritage Bed & Breakfast. If you want to stay in a home filled with Victorian era architecture, furniture and decor, then this is the place for you. The home is meticulously maintained and has been upgraded with modern bathrooms. My only recommendation for the room would be add some shelving in the... More

The Heritage Suite was amazing in every respect. The beds were very comfortable, having a full bath and a half bath was a plus, the sitting areas and kitchen made our stay even better. Breakfast was not to be missed, a delicious way to start the day. Denis and everyone else made us feel at home and were there to... More

We really enjoyed the Garden Room at the Heritage Victorian. It was very spacious and super clean. we liked having more of an apartment as opposed to a single room. I used the kitchen facility a little bit but the breakfasts were so good, why make my own? The dining room and parlor were so quaint and beautiful. Denis has... More

Repeating what others have written, this B&B is in a great location (walking distance to old town and downtown alike) and is itself beautiful (we stayed in a lovely suite with two baths and full kitchen). The spirit of the place is best summed up in the breakfasts, at which you serve yourself in the kitchen and have the option... More

This is a top notch B&B that has a wonderful sense of history in every nook and cranny. The large dinning room lends itself to easy conversation with guests from all over the world, over a fresh and varied breakfast. From omelettes made with local cheese and ham, garden tomatoes, fresh cut fruit and fantastic coffee, the morning was always... More

Our stay in the loft was fabulous. Oh there were three flights of stairs but the place was really so beautiful and really quiet even with a bar across the street. Breakfast was so pleasant because we could share what we saw the day before and hear what other guests saw. The food was plentiful and so healthy and fresh.... More

First, this B&B is in the perfect location to explore Montreal and all its beautiful neighborhoods and parks. You do not want to be downtown, its sterile and boring. This place is close to: many incredible restaurants on St. Denis and north in the Plateau neighborhood, the lovely Plateau neighborhood, the Latin Quarter student-y neighborhood, two of my favorite parks:... We stayed two fabulous nights in July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is very good - walking distance to the Old Town and great access to Bixi bilkes (bike share) which we used throughout the weekend. What a great way to see the city! We reserved the Garden Suite which was unbelievably quiet and more than met our... More

Again my review is excellent as I used TripAdvisor to choose this B&B. This is a gorgeous home especially on the inside. We stayed in the Caroline room on the second floor. The room was very quiet except for some foot steps and water running in the morning, no outside noise at all. The room was very well furnished including... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
