I am totally scarred by my experience here. When I told the woman at the front desk there were bed bugs she basically told me they knew about them but could care less. It is a budget motel after all. I am yet to spend the night in ANY hotel since this experience. I am totally creeped out......and I used...

My boyfriend and I decided to book this hotel off of Hotwire (first mistake?) and based on the website and some reviews we decided this sounded like a fun little hotel near a lot of places we wanted to go. It is in a convenient location. Check in was fine, I signed our check in sheet and we dropped off...

I just came back from a weekend in Montreal with my husband and friends. All of us stayed at the hotel. On Sunday morning I noticed red spots on my stomach and 3 days later my arms and stomach were itching. Nobody else (there were 6 of us) has anything, so I'm the 'lucky' one! The hotel is definitely cheap...

To a trip from NY, a friend recommended this place. Good Price, the people who work there are really nice. Your 10min from all the action and you save. Our room had a cool fireplace that has from the original architecture, had charm.

Badly greeted. Maintenance should be improved, and aggressive receptionist when asking for a better room. Last place I would go to, even if it were free :(

Although the staff was very friendly, we would never return to this hotel, nor recommend it to anyone. It smelt of stale cigarette smoke, and although we were told that our room was non-smoking, we had an ashtray in the room. The beds had non fitting sheets, just multiple layers of blankets, kinda perplexing. The box spring was also covered...

I came to Montreal to visit with a few friends. Found this hotel near the Gray hound terminal. It's a nice hotel. The people were nice, and gave us a lot of good advice on what to visit in the city. The room wasn't bad at all for the price your paying. It was a marble fire place (not working)...

I referred my three friends to this hotel because it was close to one that I was staying in. It wasn't great, but also wasn't expensive...all was ok, until my friend got home and went to the doctor to find out she was covered in BEDBUG BITES. It was then that I logged on here and discovered other reviews citing...

Staying in The Village (Gay Village)

Neighborhood Profile
The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomized by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
