We were in Montreal for a weekend, arrived Friday, departed Sunday, so stayed in Hotel 10 for two nights. As a boutique hotel, it's a lot more interesting than the big chains, and everybody here seems to try a little harder to make your stay great. The check in experience was smooth, and the room was great - spacious with a firm, comfortable bed. Shower was very spacious. Good climate control. Coffee maker in the room. Interesting architecture. Walking distance to many point of interest, including many great restaurants. I'd definitely stay here again...

Very centrally located. Convenient and clean. We were on the 5th floor and had no noise issues. We did not partake in the breakfast or use any facilities, but our room was nice. Not a great TV selection but hey, that's not the point of a vacation!

Stayed at Hotel 10 in December 2022. The first room I was assigned was over the restaurant that had a noisy party happening. The 2nd room was quieter, although I could still here the music from the nightclub. The $23 breakfast buffet was cold and should be free. The other food I tried was terrible. Overall for the price, I wouldn't recommend Hotel 10.

Arrived at 16:00, the advertised check in time, neither of our two reserved rooms were ready. Told it would take another 30 minutes, came back to the front desk 45 minutes later, one room still not ready. After a day of driving all I want to do is get settled into my room, relax and have a cocktail, instead I found myself waiting in the hotel lobby for an hour. I had found out after having made my reservation that there is a discotheque in the basement of the hotel so I asked for rooms on the opposite side of the building from the disco and on the upper floors; Kimberley, one of the front desk staff, used this against me saying yes they were late preparing our rooms but they were satisfying my special request as if the reason for the delay had something to do with that. Kimberley didn’t seem nearly as frustrated by the delay as I was. Despite my request for distance between us and the disco we were still awakened at 03:30 by noise from people in the street and quests in the hallway returning from their night out; not much that hotel staff can do about that I guess. In the end the rooms were very nice, but that are all kinds of hotels in Montreal with very nice rooms; I will be going to one of them on future visits. In my opinion a 16:00 check in time is already too late and Hotel 10 failed completely by not having our rooms ready until 17:00. Disappointed!

We absolutely loved this hotel. It is modern and beautifully decorated--art deco. The rooms have all of the most up-to-date amenities and furnishings. We loved that the door into the toilet also closed off the room from the bathroom area---very clever design. Two suggestions: The coffee maker is terribly cumbersome, and I would love for the hotel to come up with an alternative that does not use pods (eco-friendly). The pods kept falling into the reservoir and we had to retrieve them to use them. I also had difficulty figuring out the two different options in the shower. I never did figure out how to use the wand without soaking myself with the rain shower thing. How about some instructions for us non-engineer types? I want to compliment the staff, all of whom were helpful and professional and friendly. This is a great location close to the subway station and Chinatown. Highly recommend it (with instructions, of course!

Our room was large and beautifully decorated. The service was very helpful and accommodating. Centrally located in the downtown area, it was very easy to get where we wanted to go. We like walking, but there is easy access to public transportation.

I do not recommend this place if you want sleep before 3 am. The hotel has a club in the basement and did not tell us even though they put us on the first floor. I went to sleep around 10 and woke up to heavy base after midnight and just had to wait it out.

The hotel more than met the needs of my niece and me. The room was large, with the two beds I had reserved. I had requested a feather free room and the receptionist checked when we arrived that the room had been made feather free before giving us the keys. Later, when I asked how I can get some boiled water for medicine I take, they sent up an electric water kettle. There was both a waste basket and recycling basket in the room. There were two sinks in the bathroom. The hotel was within walking distance or public transit of every place we wanted to go. There was one bus stop in front of the hotel, another across the street and yet another a block away. One metro line was about 3 blocks and another was about a 10-12 minutes walk away. One evening I even took the 55 bus the 3 uphill blocks from the metro stop to the hotel, since I was tired.

Hello, We just wanted to share our very bad experience in hotel 10 that we booked for our last night in Montreal before returning home. We booked it for its location, rooms size…and terrasse. When we arrived, we saw a very nice dressing of the terrasse and found it beautiful. We then asked how come the terrasse was so well dressed, with candles and lounge area. It was due to a concert that was plan on that night. As our bedroom is directly on top of the terrasse, we asked what time the concert was ending. Before midnight they said…ok so we could forget our food night sleep. Then we tried to access the terrasse, listed as “common facilities”. They told us that we could not access it as it was…a private event. We then told the hotel manager our surprise and insatisfaction as they rented a common facilities for which we had pay for, which will on top generate night disturbance. First reaction of hotel manager was to tel us we were wrong and that terrasse was not part of resident facilities. When showing the facilities listing showing it, the hotel manager said that we were confused and that the terrasse was not open 24/7… Long story short : we could not access the terasse, we did not sleep well, hotel manager display a wide range of bad faith which I just never encounter in any of my previous booking and we hasn’t been compensate of anything, not even a complimentary drink…just amazing. Worst experience ever !

Hotel 10 has been newly renovated and is in a great location. Our room was modern and clean. While there were many rooms available, the check in staff gave us a room directly across from the elevator. While they easily changed it, offering us a choice of rooms, why not give clients quieter rooms from the beginning. The greatest annoyance was the lazy bellhops. Asleep at their station with their eyes open would be a good description both on arrival and departure. On departure, with four pieces of luggage and my car at the door, the bellhop, sitting and not flinching, asked in a monotone voice if I needed any help. A good hotel would have staff simply help your customers.

Room Tip: Ask where your room is located, be ready to have the bellhop watch you handle your luggage
