My husband remarked after checking in, " Everyone is so incredibly friendly". The desk staff couldn't have been any nicer. Both Catherine and William were so welcoming and helpful with maps, restaurant referrals, and a short call to our room to be sure things were satisfactory. The hotel is clean and stylish and serves great drinks in their lobby bar.... More

My husband and I needed a stay overnight in Montreal to break our drive to Quebec City from Toronto. It is located conveniently on Sherbrooke along some cafes and restaurants nearby. We found it was clean with a comfy bed. Parking was available and valet only. I would go back again.

Wow this was an experience! We went to the reception desk and was pleasantly surprised when they upgraded us to a diplomatic suit at no charge! When we got to the room we were repulsed by the mass amounts of yellow and red stains all over the carpet as well as a crusty spot on the bedspread . We called... More

First My husband and I arrived at the hotel late at night. We were exhausted and just wanted to go to bed since we drove 3 hours straigth. When i got out of the car walking toward the entrance I was hit with a wet towel that was throw away from the second floor, which young teens though it was... More

This was our third stay at hotel 10 and it will surely be our last. First a minor point-the guy who checked us in was rude. We had booked the room the morning of our arrival. As we knew from our previous stays, for some reasons same day booking "don't enter into their system" (last I heard, it was 2016!)... More

My husband and I made the long drive from Toronto and did not sleep AT ALL Friday or Saturday night. There is a club on the first floor and it is loud ALL night! We were on the third floor and we could still hear the music. Not only that but from 1:00 until 6 am all of the drunk... More

Dear Sarah M, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Tripadvisor. I am very disappointed to read that your stay at the hotel did not meet your expectations. I would like to apologize for the music noise coming from the corporate event that we were hosting during the week-end. I would also like to apologize for... More

We stayed here and we paid quite a bit for this hotel. The room was "ok" shower was pretty dirty and nothing special about the room. There is a club in the hotel and apparently it's free for guests but what they don't tell you is you gotta wait outside in line like everyone else so we didn't get to... More

I stayed at Hotel 10 for a business meeting in May 2015. It was recommended to me by colleagues since it was walking distance to the company building. Very up-to-date, modern feeling to the place. Comfy bed and spacious rooms with no road noise as far as I could tell, even though the hotel is located in somewhat of a... More

I have stayed here before, and it was phenomenal. Great location for food (Coco Rico and Schwartz's Deli just a short walk) and entertainment (Ste. Catherine is 2 blocks down) of all kinds. Including, unfortunately, an attached nightclub. The noise was unacceptable with no notice that this was to occur. Had the staff mentioned that we would now be in... More

We travel to Montreal from the US every few months. We love everything about the city. This last visit was our second stay at Hotel 10. We were given a room on the second floor for a three night New Years get away. Being a return guest, one would think there would be some sort of flag or note that... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
