Friendly staff – even when you come back at 3 in the morning :) Great location – many shops and restaurants in this area. Lively at night; there's some great live music down on the street level. About 7 minutes walking to the Metro, 3 stops away from Old Montreal. We also were able to order Ubers to and from...

Stayed one night mid-week in an economy room. Room was small but perfect for my needs. Had a queen sized murphy bed - folds up into the wall if table space is needed, I did not fold the bed up. It is low to the ground but very comfortable. Room is equipped with a small kitchenette - fridge (could use...

I stayed here for 4 nights recently. I got a room with windows facing the terrace, which was pretty quiet in the evening but there is a jazz club in the underground level beneath the hotel so I did hear some music playing faintly late at night...which didn't bother me as much since I had to wear earplugs to sleep...

The overall experience was satisfactory. Although the hotel is a bit far from the subway station, the location is pleasant. The staircase at the entrance is not very comfortable, on the other hand the service was friendly and efficient.

During my process of picking a hotel for my stay this was the best choice for me because: a) location; I LOVE le plateau-mont-royal, it's my favorite Montreal borough, and just about every place I wanted to go was in short walking distance plus it was close to two metro stations. b) the price; It was very reasonable in my...

My mother and I stayed at Anne Ma Soeur Anne for a long weekend while visiting Quebec and absolutely loved it. The location was within walking distance to both bus routes and the metro. And you simply can't beat staying in Le Plateau with all of the great shops and restaurants. It really made us feel less like tourists and...

We were in Montreal for a wedding and this Bed and breakfast seems like a good choice. The room was fine we actually got a suite with 2 beds and had plenty of room. It is a large building with at least 30 rooms. My gripes are that the "breakfast" was a croissant in a paper bag left at my...

I had a 3 nights stay at Anne ma soeur Anne, which is a wonderfully located small hotel, at the heart of "Le plateau" in Montreal, on St-Denis street, (which is having a pavement and sidewalk revamping for the time being, making it a bit unpractical to download luggage at the hotel if you have more than what your hands...

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
