We stayed at this hotel for one night only but would love to return. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and cozy with beautiful art and furniture. Bed was very comfortable. Restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Such a nice discovery, a boutique hotel with dedicated service and lovely big rooms, all adorned with original works of art. It felt like being at home. Great location in downtown Montreal and plenty of nice restaurants around.

The staff here were wonderfully accommodating. We came with another couple and they were able to provide us with rooms in close proximity to each other on the same floor. They were also able to provide us with an early check in and late checkout with no hassle or extra charge. They arranged for the taxi pick up to the...

The staff were very friendly and provided quality service. The room was large, nicely decorated, and beautifully kept. It has an eclectic feel and does not have the most high end finishes. The breakfast is not included in the cost of the room and is costly for what is provided.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel and we loved it as much as the first time. It is cozy and we love the artwork everywhere. I am also really impressed by the towels! It's rare that even really expensive big named hotels have soft towels! This hotel has the softest towels! We...

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff was incredible. Everyone we met had a happy vibe and everyone was happy to help us with recommendations for food, shopping and navigation by walking or taxi. This hotel is owed by the owner of Guess Jeans. The halls of every floor have exquisite and priceless art. It...

The rooms are spectacular and the staff is incredible. I was actually in town for business and was worried about driving to customer accounts. The staff at LHotel...

Large suite, high ceilings, comfortable bed. Excellent location. Mesmerising art collection. Bathroom faucets (shower and sink) and bath tub jets are old, could look more inviting if renovated. Poor breakfast.

Nice boutique hotel, well located in Montreal. Stayed 2 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. Room was quite "roomy" and comfortable, facilities were adequate, and the small bar was compact and well stocked. Staff were pleasant.

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighborhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic center of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its center, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theater.
