A boutique hotel in the heart of old Montreal. A great location if you want to walk to/from a restaurant and tour around. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is warm and trendy. This time I noticed a bit of wear on the bathtub and scuffs on the walls that should be touched up. Then looking closely it...

Large rooms with very comfortable beds. Bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. The rooms towards the street can be a little bit disturbed by noice from the street, traffic, garbage collection etc. There is no fitness cenetr in the hotel but there is access to a gym a few blocks away. This can, however, be a cold walk in the...

My husband and I just spent two nights at Le Saint-Sulpice, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. We arrived mid-morning, around 11:30AM. Our room was ready, so we were able to drop off our luggage before exploring the area. The room was beautiful and clean - on the 5th floor at they very end of the hallway, with a balcony,...

My husband and I made a last-minute long weekend trip to Montreal. We didn't know much about the city but it's a quick plane trip for us and I wanted to feel "elsewhere." The St. Sulpice was the perfect choice for us. The rooms are really suites with a living room and small kitchen. They have a coffee maker and,...

My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely boutique hotel. Our room was spacious and clean and had all amenities previously mentioned by other reviewers. Location was great. This was our third stay at this wonderful hotel next to the cathedral. The location is ideal if you are on a cruise. The hotel has a nice cocktail lounge where you can get a well crafted martini. Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighborhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic center of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its center, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theater.
