Travelers' Choice
Nestled in an original Beaux-Arts building in the historic quarter of Old Montreal, the St Paul opened in 2001 as Canada’s first ever boutique hotel. The 119-room property, designed by Montreal-based design firm Borrallo Interiors offers a timeless blend of past and present, and an innovative design that maintains the integrity of the building’s original architecture. Bold juxtapositions of color and texture heighten the senses and transport guests on a visual journey throughout their stay. Masculine elements like straight cuts and strong lines collide with feminine expressions found in the fashion-inspired fabrics to create a soothing paradox Numéro de licence de la Corporation de l'industrie Touristique du Québec (CITQ) 160311

Nice stay, central part of town. Clean, but a little dusty. Bed linens were clean. They give you free breakfast for 2 each day which was nice and nespresso in the room. Terry bathrobes were an added play.

Hotel was beautiful; great space and nice decor. The continental breakfast was less than desirable and not worth the money for a croissant and a yogurt. The parking situation was rough and frustrating.

The hotel is nice but it is quite dark and there are some maintenance issues that should be taken care of. Staff was extremely helpful to the point that we were greeted by someone in French, English and Spanish (fluent).
