The beds are too small. I understand that space is at a premium but need to be a bit larger. The internet was slow.

Some friends and I recently stayed here while we were attending the Formula one Grand Prix. The location of the hotel is excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a four bed room which was incredibly small and with four adults we found it difficult to move about inside the room. The breakfast was included in... More

We spent two nights in this downtown Toronto hotel. Our rooms were quite small, but very clean and had very comfortable beds. The hotel staff was very friendly. We also enjoyed the good continental breakfast buffet and the comfortable public parking close to the hotel. The greatest advantage of the hotel was its great location very close to Place des... Incredible location..super clean.....amazing value...most of the great places to go in Montreal were all within walking distance. That being said we called ahead and were told parking was never a problem if checking in before 2pm. WRONG :) We ended up having to park at other building and this made getting our luggage etc pretty cumbersome at check out. We'd... More

Very funny scene at reception - young man absolutely incredulous that there was no fridge in the room. He was sure it was a mistake, but this pretty much sums up the place - safe, clean, functional. And it does all work. Small things - never a long wait for the lifts for instance, on-site bureau de change (no commission... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share you experience. I'm so sorry to read that the room you had booked did not exceed your expectations. Though most of our rooms share the same square footage, we do have alternative options such as the corner queen room. The corner queen room provides our guests with a larger living... More

Nice central hotel, if you've stayed in a travelodge before then you know what to expect. Basic rooms, quite small but fine for a night or twos stay. Staff helpful with a map of the area and showing us where places of interest were. Parking was an issue, by the time we arrived.. early evening there was no parking spaces,... More

This hotel is modern, clean, and the shower was fine. The room was truly tiny, but I knew that from other reviews and booked anyway; for a one-night stay it was fine. HOWEVER, I had two gripes: when we arrived they told us they had run out of parking spaces when their (advertised) parking was one of the reasons we... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bakeries, markets, restaurants, and buffets crowd the brightly graffitied streets of Chinatown, the city's aromatic destination for pan-Asian cuisine. Distinguished at its entry points by towering vermillion paifang gates, the compact neighborhood acts as a focal point for the Chinese community, hectic with educational facilities, cultural centers, acupuncturists, and foreign-language newspapers. Especially vibrant in the warmer months, when the sweet smell of dragon beard candy along the pedestrian walks of Rue de la Gauchetière signal the beginning of the outdoor street fair season, Chinatown is a treasure hunter's dream, with enough knickknack and curiosity shops to tempt even the pickiest shoppers. The convivial vibe picks up after dark, when the area's active nightlife offers evening crowds their choice of drink, dance, and midnight snacks of pho or oysters. Chinatown's mix of new and old, with herbal remedies being sold alongside pop-culture DVDs, gives the area its own animated brand of moxie.
