The Travelodge in Montreal gave my family and I great value for our money! The hotel is centrally located; there's a lot to do within walking distance, and a nearby Metro station makes everything else in the city easily accessible. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, and for an extra fee ($22 per day.....very much worth it) you can park your...

We had a great experience in the hotel. It was not that spacious but it wasn't a real issue. The rooms are freshly renovated and the surrounding looks new. It is very close to the Old Montreal and a lot of Montreal attractions. The parking space was limited so, piece of advice, check-in around 3pm to secure your slot for...

This is a nice hotel in the City Center. The room was small, but comfortable. The staff was amazing. They had the best customer service skills, and they really went the extra mile to accommodate any request.

We stayed for only one night (my wife, a friend and I) and is a good option if you are going to spend all your day outside the hotel, because the room was extremly small. It had 2 single bed and 1 cabin bed (very small, if you are tall, not an option). Service is good and includes breakfast, a...

I made a reservation with Travelodge Hotel Montreal Centre last night after careful research. I plan to bring my family to Montreal for a holiday vacation in Spring 2017. I found out first hand that the other comparable hotels within the area had mediocre customer service (which is a priority for me). I spoke with Junor Pierre (Supervisor, Reception) and...

Stayed there for one night in the end of December 2016. The room was VERY small!!! We have a 3-year old and asked for the crib (they gave us a playpen instead to sleep, which is fine) + we had a stroller in our room - so there was literally NO space to walk with all that - the room...

Paid what I get. Small room, wait 5 mins for hot water at shower. No on site parking and no 24 hrs access parking near the hotel. Don't go if you plan to drive or need to in and out with car. Worse hotel I ever stay

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bakeries, markets, restaurants, and buffets crowd the brightly graffitied streets of Chinatown, the city's aromatic destination for pan-Asian cuisine. Distinguished at its entry points by towering vermillion paifang gates, the compact neighborhood acts as a focal point for the Chinese community, hectic with educational facilities, cultural centers, acupuncturists, and foreign-language newspapers. Especially vibrant in the warmer months, when the sweet smell of dragon beard candy along the pedestrian walks of Rue de la Gauchetière signal the beginning of the outdoor street fair season, Chinatown is a treasure hunter's dream, with enough knickknack and curiosity shops to tempt even the pickiest shoppers. The convivial vibe picks up after dark, when the area's active nightlife offers evening crowds their choice of drink, dance, and midnight snacks of pho or oysters. Chinatown's mix of new and old, with herbal remedies being sold alongside pop-culture DVDs, gives the area its own animated brand of moxie.
