I am staying for 4 nights (mon-fri), writing this on my last night.

Got a great deal for Comiccon.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the city. Very close walk to metro. The hotel is under renovation which makes it dirty from outside.
The hallway carpets and walls are dirty but the room we were in...More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review.
We are sorry for the dust that is caused by the renovations that are going on.
We are revamping the front driveway of the hotel to improve the overall usage for our clients.
When you arrive at Hotel Espresso you are greeted by delicious cofeee and a friendly staff who really know the city. But it was all downhill from there. The pool deck area and pool were unkept and dirty and looked nothing like the pics online....More

Older motel within walking distance to old Montreal, the old port the entertainment precinct and Mount Royal. Rooms are clean and spacious with good showers. Staff are friendly and helpful and the pool area is a gem. Parking is safe and secure but costly. The...More
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young
professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
