A twelve rooms luxury hotel facing the Old Port of Montreal. Stay in Old Montreal, a location where the ambiance is authentic and historic. Science and history museums are just beside as well as the skating rink and the ice fishing spot. There are six suites facing the waterfront and six rooms in the back. Free wireless internet. Minibar. Free calls in North America. Free business center with unlimited printing. All bookings are pre-registered and express check-out is the standard. There is a guitar for you to play. Some of the rooms could confortably accomodate six! 24h check-in system and service. There is no elevator but the doctor say it is good to exercise, and yes, the reception is narrow.

Neighborhood
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic center of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its center, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theater.

We went in the winter and found the Auberge de la Place Royale to be a delightful surprise. We had a fabulous room on the waterfront side with a large bed, a sofa, kitchenette equipment and a warm welcome. The large tile bathroom was a...More

Great place in an excellent location! Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. The only things folks may want to be aware of is there are lots of stairs (we stayed on the top floor) and there can be some...More

Some would be skeptical about a hotel room that provides you an access code before arrival and has no elevator. But all the positive reviews are accurate. The rooms are large and exceptionally clean. You're 1 block away from the heart of Old Montreal. For...More

We had a gorgeous room on the 3rd fl. If you don't mind stairs this hotel has excellent location to pier, all activities & sightseeing of Old Montreal. Like stepping back in time with rich antique furnishings. Highly recommended!

The location is very good; within walking distance to many interesting places and restaurants...on the the river front! Johan is very helpful and fun to speak with, though not too familiar with the area. Our room is ample size, though quite dated. The bed sags...More

If I remember correctly there's a window for breakfast (maybe 8-11?). And you order a la carte from a menu. Great food!
