What an absolutely lovely hotel. I am a Marriott loyalist and the refurbishment of this property was very well done. From the moment you arrive you will be invited into a very warm, modern yet classic lobby that is well furnished and well lit. The front desk staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating and very much made me feel welcomed. The rooms have been thoughtfully remodeled in a very contemporary, yet classic decor. The spacious hallway leading to the bathroom has tons of closet space and allows you to store your luggage out of view of the rest of the room. The bathrooms are small, but the very good water pressure and rainfall and body shower heads make up for it! The M Club lounge is very nice and spacious and never felt overcrowded. A very nice breakfast and nice evening canapes really round out this amazing hotel.…

Amazing customer service with great staff who make you feel at home .I was unhappy they did not honor my suite nights but M club was pretty good . They need to Put gluten free snacks there daily. Too. Managers are all on vacation in all marriot I traveled recently They need to have cabs by the door and bell man However the restaurant has good food and location is superb close to train station .

We returned to the now fully renovated Marriott Chateau Champlain for another wonderful stay during our extended President's Weekend trip to Montreal. As with our past visits, the property, the staff and the view from our park-facing room were exceptional. Because we travel mainly by Metro during the cold weather, the hotel is ideally situated above the Bonaventure station with direct access to the trains without going outside. We enjoyed an amazing breakfast buffet on our last day in the hotel and can't think of enough good things to say about this property. We will definitely be back for future visits and recommend it highly as the ideal spot to stay in Montreal

What I liked: 1. Location – walking distance from downtown Gare Central (Via Rail) 2. While this is a landmark hotel, the renovations look modern and sleek with new elevators 3. Friendly check-in – pretty efficient 4. Great layout for a room with two double beds. There is a division between the bedroom/sitting area and the washroom with large walk-in closet. 5. Nespresso machine 6. Management & staff took time to answer questions and figure things out 7. Direct access to Bonaventure subway 8. Very clean What can be improved: 1. While there is a wheel-chair ramp in front of the restaurant that can be used for luggage, I completely walked passed it when checking in and there is a sharp turn in the ramp.

This place was amazing! They took the downtime of Covid to redo the entire hotel. Very high tech-- bathrooms are amazing! Fantastic location right above its own subway stop. Great customer service and a fantastic breakfast. We will be back for sure-- new favorite Montreal hotel.

This Hotel is beyond amazing!! The elegance and breathtaking views from the 32nd floor are absolutely stunning!! The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Although, it was a short 3 day trip, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I would definitely come back once time permits. I was completely sold from day one with the attention to detail and the added personal touch… almost feels like I got to taste of a little bit of heaven and I loved every minute of it!!

Newly renovated rooms ,no carpet! Beautiful bathroom with multi shower heads. Super clean, friendly courteous staff. The beds are comfortable and clean. Our room had a fridge , safe , table and chairs. The lobby is nice and clean with nice staff who are always willing to answer your questions

I really wanted to like this place post-renovation. This is my third stay in the last few months as it’s very close to my office and I am Marriott-loyal. The renovated rooms are beautiful and I can’t say enough good about them. I have two complaints, one minor and one major but enough to cause me to move on from the hotel. First they offer mobile check-in through the app, however they always require a visit to the front desk to verify ID and credit card. Other Marriott locations do the mobile key without a front desk stop but not this one. My second and much more significant complaint is that they don’t offer air conditioning in the winter. I thought the system was just old and not optimal my last few visits, but this stay it is 23° in my room. It appears as though I can change the temperature and set it lower, however nothing happens. I called the front desk who went a maintenance person who confirmed to me that they turn off AC in the winter and nothing can be done. I then called the front desk backed and she confirmed that this is the case, and that they could bring a fan to my room. 23° is much too warm for sleeping and a needs to have consistent climate control. …

Room scores a 10/10 for me. Great bed, windows with awesome views across the city. The baths have a new shower and toilet with lots of features which are excellent, Shower had amazing water pressure and features your choice of overhead shower, a hand wand and water jets from the wall. Bath is one of the best appointed bathrooms ever. Fridge and room safe. Lobby is modern and welcoming. Location is very good and close to Gare Central and Bell Centre,

Check in/check out was quick and efficient, staff helpful and friendly. Room was clean,nicely decorated, bed comfortable, our view looked out over the park area. Nespresso and kettle in room with a small selection of pods and tea. There was also a mini fridge, safe, hair dryer, and usb ports near each side of bed. We were in town for a Saturday night hockey game at the Bell Centre, this hotel is very close by. There are many bar, and restaurant options close by, as well as many food delivery options. The hotel bar was very busy, but nice to sit for a quick beverage. One observation - After the game it seemed to be under staffed for the volume of patrons. Overall it was a great stay, and we would consider staying here again in the future.
