Very attentive staff, well kept rooms, beautiful pool and lovely gardens to walk in. Truly an urban oasis! I was recently here for work, but have already come twice with my husband and 11 year old twins. The outside heating pool is certainly a special treat!
This was one of nine hotels we stayed at during this adventure, and we still voted it most comfy beds! The outdoor pool is very warm and thinking of returning for a winter visit. Although I didn’t dine in the restaurant, they supply service for the pool; the staff was particularly kind and hospitable.
This hotel is a gem in the middle of the city. Check out the roof-top outdoor pool. It was actually the reason that we selected this hotel over others. The temperature was about 10 C, but the pool was very comfortable. The unexpected delight at this hotel was that our room faced a rooftop garden and stream where there were ducks swimming around. It seems like we were in a very secluded setting. We would recommend this hotel for families and for tourists who want to be able to park their car and walk through Old Montreal.
The front desk was rude. He also was rude to my husband when he was asked to repeat his question, we can’t understand his accent. So, if you speak English only, try to avoid the big guy. He will show you an attitude and will turn your visit into a nightmare. Tried to talk to him by intercom and he called me by my last name as if he is my boss and treated me like an applicant for a job interview, lol and he hanged up on me. The next time I called I asked to talk to a lady and they said my concern has been taken cared of and the big guy just had the wrong info. I booked here because of the pool and I am sure you are considering to. So what’s great here is the pool only but don’t expect it to be well filtered and don’t wish for a clean pool surroundings, the reception is also great, but that’s it. You get your money’s worth with the pool and reception area. The rooms are outdated and dirty. If you have asthma don’t stay here, see pictures. If you hate discrimination, choose the more expensive hotels.…
good location downtown and close to the old city. unusual to see gardens, waterfalls and ponds on an upper floor. our room looked out to the gardens and not to the city. road access in and out was tricky as there was some construction, but managed successfully.
