We booked this hotel for the outdoor pool and hot tub in the winter and it did not disappoint. Hotel was close to the subway and a close walk to downtown and old Montreal but the area felt pretty isolated in the evenings (in winter)

A very unique hotel stay, will be staying there again for sure, great staff and a lot of places within a walking distance to see. The pool is nice and warm - the restaurants got good food - the view is incredible from the room.

Another fantastic trip to Montreal and the Bonaventure is a perfect choice - our 4th time at the hotel and it is a perfect spot for exploring all of Montreal. Kids love the pool and the rooms. Can’t wait to get back.

This hotel was a disappointment, and we discovered what seemed to be feces' stains on our sheets as we were leaving. The pool was warm but dirty, with hair floating in it and no sign of anyone making any effort to keep it clean. The fitness room was in a dungeon like location without wifi and only 1 of the treadmills worked (the machines were ancient). Pillows are like rocks, and the dark hallways are creepy. The restaurant is exorbitant (14$ for a kids' breakfast, and 7$ cappuccino). We won't be back!

Easily accessible when you enter the city from Route 10. Great location. Less than a mile walk to Place des Arts where we enjoyed the Montreal Lumierre festival. The pool, sauna and spa and room were wonderful.

We had a wonderful time here on our quick overnight trip. We arrived early but we’re able to check in right away. Our room was beautiful with a great view of the city. Only draw back was the bathroom door would not lock or close all the way without wedging something in the back of the sliding door. The warm pool, hot tub and sauna were so much fun, with snow all around! It’s a quick walk up to St Catherine street, and easy access to everything. Great restaurants near by. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

My family spent 4 nights here this past week during the school break and it was wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and nice, the restaurant was good and the pool was an absolute delight! For a brutalist building it is surprisingly warm and welcoming on the inside and all of that cement means the rooms are well insulated for sound, we slept incredibly well. The updated rooms are very nicely decorated with a clean and modern look and plenty of lighting options, outlets and comfortable beds. The immediate location isn't fantastic but it's an easy walk to Old Town and other lively neighborhoods so long as it's not too cold. The pool is a true gem . Unlike other reviews we didn't find it overly crowded except on the weekend and even then, it wasn't bad. We could have spent all of our time in the pool, the temperature is incredible - basically the same as the hot tub - the music is soothing and calm in the daytime and gets a little livelier in the evenings. If I were to come again I might ask for an outward facing room, our corner room faced the courtyard and didn't have the most exciting view, but that didn't stop us from really enjoying this truly unique hotel.

We were four adults for one night and our room was clean, big, modern and overlooking the pool (2130). The outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna were wow. All slept very good. The staff were pleasant and professional. Good location. Def worth the extra $$. The breakfast buffet was overpriced and would recommend a la carte. Won’t stop us from going back though!

This hotel is an icon. Great location downtown with walking access to Gare Central (VIA Rail) and Bell Centre. Outdoor warm pool, hot tub and sauna were great and added to our vacation! That being said, the condition of the hotel is somewhat poor. There are signs of its age in the furnishings and fixtures in the room, chips in the bathtub, shower head needs to be changed etc. if the hotel was renovated, this would be a rating of 5!
