Staff member Rui should be recognized. He works in the parking area, and went out of his way to ensure my husband and I (and everyone else) were taken care of. Offering to get taxis, umbrellas, Rui went above and beyond to keep checking in with everyone to see if he could help out. People like Rui is why the Hotel Omni has such a great reputation.

The Hotel has friendly staff and the service was fine. Breakfast in the restaurant is good and full of choice. The rooms have passed its best times. Too small, bathroom outdated, cabin far too small, most important the air condition is heavily noisy, you can‘t open any windows. The technology is probably 40 years old. This needs renovation.

Great Location!Came for the world tour cycling event !Hotel was half hour walk away !All the meals were priced reasonably !Good food with substantial quantities !Clean Rooms although we never used housekeeping !Every time they showed we were knocked out .

Careful booking at this hotel, I recently stayed here for 2 nights thurs,friday., . Not sure how this all happened bcause i was on the hotels web site clicked reserve and got redirected to expedia.com not expedia.ca ....Expedia.com does not have a U.S fund beside their respective $amt charge but the expedia.ca does have a CA beside the booking charge. So while booking I was unaware that I was booking in US funds and booked at what I consider to be too expensive for this hotel . So when I checked my email immediately after the booking. I realized a 220 dollar a night stay ended up being a 300 a night stay canadian(which on a weekday thursday this hotel is not worth it) . I immediately called the hotel requesting a cancellation and all help was denied based on the no cancellation policy. Then I called Expedia and explained my situation to them and they also refused me help and told me to call the hotel. So I called the hotel back and asked them if they could help me out in any way. They also denied me help and passed the buck back to Expedia but it was there web site which directed me to expedia.com. So yes no cancellation means no cancellation but in circumstances such as this where is the compassion absolutely non-existent. Dissappointed on how the hotel handled this and like I said careful booking because there will be no compassion for a little mistake which will cost you big ....nobody wants to pay 670 dollars canadian for this hotel for 2 nights stay ...When i did end up staying there for 2 nights although a decent place and staff very warm, not worth 335 a night especially on a weekday …

Very nice hotel within a walk of several museums. Room was very large with mini fridge. Bar and restaurant on site were both good and I liked that the restaurant built in a gratuity so the cost was the cost. Easy check in/check out and plenty of public transportation available.

I’m a frequent guest of Omni Hotels at other locations. Was passing by the bar and looking for a quick coffee with my wife after hours. Ernesto who was working alone went out of his way to accommodate us without knowing any background. What a great experience!

This is a solid and reliable hotel, but this comment is about the facilities and the gym area. Several months ago, another club (MAA) took over the management of the gym. The pool — an outdoor and beautiful space where people used to come in the summer — has been semi-permanently closed for “structural” reasons. When you sign onto a gym membership they do not tell you the pool is closed. Then we discovered that the women’s sauna is permanently closed. The amenities in the locker room area have also disappeared. With the exception of a a few of the club stalwarts (spinning and some of the dance) most of the classes are substandard. The hotel needs to get this club back into shape!

I was deciding between 3 hotels for our stay and chose the omni solely because they had a kid friendly outdoor pool that was highly recommended. upon arrival I learned the pool was closed for the season for maintenance. I was disappointed but not much you can do so I went about my stay. what I was extremely upset about is they gave us vouchers to another pool "very close" to accommodate. My three kids and I had to walk 20 minutes through a terrible neighborhood that even they were scared about and when we got there the pool was dirty and not at all kid friendly. When I complained they didn't really do much but say, "thanks for your feedback". management should not even offer up such a ridiculous alternative, it was a struggle to get there and back and a total waste of a day for our trip. They should've been clear to any guests visiting prior that the pool wasn't available.…
