Travel a lot for business and one of the most important factors in a hotel is to feel relaxed and comfortable. Stephanie goes out of her way each and every time along with all the staff. When you walk into this hotel you treat you with the care you deserve if its for one night or a week

Yhe hotel is centrally located. Is hotel and condo , We stayed in the condo. The room was clean ,big room, with a kitchenette, microwave, stove and fridge.the only con was the strong strange odour coming out from the back closet. The wii is free, the parking is 15$ a day.

I have been to this great city many times before, but this was my first stay at this hotel. The location was great, situated only a couple of blocks from the Bell Centre, a block from St.Catherines Street and Crescent Street. The price was very reasonable for being so centrally located. My room was large with a small kitchenette, which... More

Large, clean rooms. Bathroom surpassed my expectations for a 3 star hotel – it was spacious, great water pressure. The only concern is that the heating / cooling fan has only 2 speeds, which are both loud. The TV in the room in a flat screen, but it is one of the cheaper brands, and makes the room feel more... We spend two nights here in late december and gor a very good deal through online promotions. I suspected that we'd get a clean yet somewhat dated hotel, and we got a bit more than that. First of all, yes, the hotel is a bit dated style-wise (though the lobby seems new). The rooms' decor is possibly 20 years old... More

Over the years I stay at this hotel one or two times annually. Very exceptionally this year perhaps because it was close to the holidays I found myself on a floor where a noisy activity was happening. When I called reception I was immediately given a room on another floor. Unfortunately there was also noisy activity ( I must stress... More

You can't best the location. Within walking distance (up to 25 minutes) of the Atwater market, Old Montreal, St. Catherine's street and is in the heart of downtown. 2 metro stations located within 3-4 short blocks. Chic lobby. Spacious and comfy rooms. There is a hotel side and a condo side. We spent the first night on the hotel side.... More

The warm welcome at the hotel reception from Natalina was the start of a short but enjoyable stay at Le Nouvel Hotel. The king bed room was spacious with furnishings nicely laid out and perfect sized fridge and microwave to suit our travel needs. The free wi-fi worked efficiently and the TV didn't pose any of the problems noted in... More

Greeted by an ignorant and preoccupied receptionist that took more than one hour to complete my check-in. Don't be fooled -parking is not included, no breakfast, TV didn't even work. The total despite the promotion came to $200 for a one night stay after hidden charges. Service from start to beginning was a disaster. Never, ever coming back or recommending... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
